My butt plate did the same mate, I had some help whilst I was wearing my suit..the braces were lengthened to let the back and butt plate lower a little, and the belt was raised slightly allowing it to sit correctly..hope you get it sorted..post some photos

This is my resin E-11, the only part I've had break is the scope rail..they are a little frail, I've yet to troop with it, but painted and weathered it is okay for me

I used a combination of both snaps and velcro, I put the snap first and then the velcro under the snap that way if one gives in, the other is still there.

Hi Mate, they were 9v fans, and I'm running each of 1 9v battery. I've since bought some new fans, and some battery boxes with on/off switches and they seem to have cured the problems.
