  1. If you're paying full price for the kit then you're better off skipping on the soft goods in my opinion. At the introductory price it was worth it, not so much at full retail.
  2. You get it figured out? Sorry for the late
  3. Go MEPD.net, get registered then ask around to see who still builds them to order. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  4. Keep up the good work Jim

  6. Sometimes you just gotta look at it from the bright side
  7. lol, well you're doing a great job, keep it up.
  8. 1/2" x 1/8" http://www.ebay.com/itm/50-Large-1-2-x-1-8-inch-Neodymium-Disc-Magnets-Super-Strong-Rare-Earth-Magnet-/251665625934?hash=item3a9870b34e:g:R5MAAOSwv9hW6aCf
  9. Try using smaller diameter magnets. They function the same yet with less breakage because of the smaller surface. Larger will crack regardless however, with tape at least it will keep them in one place. my 2 cents
  10. Hey Brian, insulating your helmet is the key here. Shoot me a PM so we can work on the issues you may be having.
  11. I was looking for an alternative case for the PCB and given the specs I think this may come pretty close. http://www.ebay.com/itm/231467383590
  12. Makes sense , pretty much the same technique the screen used armor is suspended
  13. Well slap my #$$ and call me Sally. Isn't that some FINE looking armor!?
  14. Alright!
  15. What are the dimensions on the V2 case if you don't mind me asking?
  16. The kidney and ab sides should come together vertically, with little to no gap. The illustration above is demonstrating how and where to apply the shim, sorry for the confusion. Use ABS slurry to fill the unevenness of the shim and armor. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  17. Trim remaining return edge, preferable using a straight edge if possible. Add shim from behind and use ABS slurry from scrap Anovos trimmings to fill in the gaps and seam. Do the same for both sides. Edit: shim could probably be larger. Use cover strip material from another mfg and paint to match.
  18. It really does doesn't it. If I can make this cost effectively I may be upgrading my TK audio system.
