  1. I know that this can be frustrating. We have all been there. As we explained to you on our Ohio Garrison academy Facebook page, having a member come to you to help you is not an option with the pandemic. I've scanned over your build thread, and you have been getting fantastic help here. When you have posted to our academy page, our garrison members have also provided you with pointers. So, don't give up. As has been explained above, you need to align the top edges, and then trim off the excess on the bottom, following the general curved shape needed for the bottom. 2. Awesome job Aaron! I look forward to trooping with you in the OG! Welcome.
  3. Nice job Mark. Of course, these mods would have been nice, before I lost 50 lbs to fit into the armor that I purchased from you last year. :-)
  4. OK, Trooperbay set me straight. The decals peel off the backing (with no water). The gray decals peeled off OK. The three blue ones were hard to separate from the backing.
  5. Hi. I ordered colored TK ab plate decals several months ago, and I'm trying to apply them to my armor tonight. This may seem like a dumb question, but does anyone know if these are the type of decals that need to be soaked in water? I'm having a hard time separating them from their backing. Thanks! Scott
  6. Thank you Tim and Germain! I appreciate the help! I will PM Echo.
  7. Hi. I'm currently building my TK from AP. I'm trying to locate the 8mm solid-head rivets needed for the ab and kidneys (as well as securing the ammo pack on the right thigh), but I've been having no luck. Instead of starting a new thread, I thought I would comment on this one. I live in Cleveland, OH. I've looked at Lowes, Home Depot, Joann Fabrics, and Michaels. Joann Fabrics and Michaels are good source for snaps, but no rivets. Lowes and Home Depot only have the rivets that are installed with a mandril that snaps off and leave a hole in the center of the head. Can someone please steer me in the right direction to find rivets with a solid head? If you have a manufacturer and part #, that would be much appreciated. Thanks!
  8. Hi Fredrik. I just read through this thread, and I was wondering if you made any more progress? I will also be starting my first AP build in about a month. Thanks!
