Yea the drop boxes need to be flush with the belt. And the straps should be nice thinner. Great job so far
-
Also take a photo of you dressed up completely from the front. It looks like you may want to raise your thighs as well. But I want to see a picture of u standing upright to confirm it's not just ur stance on the pics above.
-
Great job on the armor. I think it's been said, but you may want to raise the thighs a bit. They look low.

Also it looks like you forgot to paint the black ranking stripe on the ear of the bucket.

Good luck!
-
Yup I was going to mention the cod snap painted. Once u fix it you look good to go.

Word of advice to make the build a little cleaner, you may want to make the shoulder strap a bit longer so that you decrease the gap between your back plate and your kidney plate.
Also, trim a bit from the inside of the thighs (by the cod). Looks a bit tight and overlapped

Great job bough, you should be certified soon. Good luck
-
Yup it has been mentioned above. I would make the shoulder straps a little longer to bring down the chest a little, but try hiking up the cod a bit too. But as it is, the chest looks slightly too high and close to your neck.

As for the shins/thighs on the back. Yes it does not affect EIB status. Just make sure you look at references of other troopers. Try not to cut too much
-
Agreed. I'm glad your going to address that. The height of the thighs in the before pic looked better, too much gap now. I'd think you'd have better mobility with more gap at the knee.

Did you trim the thighs and shins shorter?
-
It's all based on height. Varies person to person. Just make sure you cut the top of thoughts and bottom of shins. Your numbers sound about right though
-
Yea I got lucky. I was right on that border of being shorter than the movie accurate trooper. Since I'm 5'8" the pieces fit as is fairly well. I know it's more work for you shorter troopers, but you are all doing a amasterful job!
-
I believe the anovos bucket is good enough for Expert Infantry as is. we all just believe some work can be done to make it more screen accurate. Fix the frown edges in paint and you may need to open up the eyes. Also buy a mesh for the back of the frown, not that its mandatory. Just looks nicer.

How tall are you guys. You're doing an amazing job btw...
-
That damn quote. I'm 5'8" and I get that short trooper line all the time. The main issue is that most of my fellow squad is well over 5'10" so I always look shorter. But damn. No respect lmfaoHi Frank-
I can get you added in to the FB page. It's a private group, but a very friendly one. Please look me up on FaceBook as "Diana Wolf Torres" so we can connect and I can get you added in. The group is almost at 500 members already. So, rest assured you are in great company. There are a lot of awesome building tips and tricks being exchanged on there and the best comeback lines to "Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?"

Welcome to the FISD. Learn as much as you can and have fun!
-
Yes I was going to mention it. But I know sly and Andrew are definitely going to highlight the strips
-
Nice work on your ATA. You are still missing an action shot pic.

Good luck on your submission.

Congratulations. Welcome to EIB

Welcome to THE FISD. and yes it's been mentioned but you can accommodate any body type to any type of costume. It's just a matter of working it out. Just do the armor that makes you most happy to start with. Have fun

looks good.
i'm sure you will get approved in no time.

those are really nice!
-
Exactly what sly said.
The other troopers you saw probably had basic approval only. to get more advanced status, you need to make sure you have all the standard equipment (i.e. holster)
