  1. Thanks guys. I thought you were just trying to make sure I understood you completely, Darren. Haha.
  2. So I have the Heston 3D and I got the balloon lights. I like the other thread. I can't seem to find a pic of lights in the mag. Should they go in the counter and Mag or does it just look cool?
  3. I placed an order. I hope it's still available. 00046 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk
  4. I'm trying to lose weight, but this is my backup plan. This is the best kidney shim I've seen. Great job. I just need a few inches.
  5. Is anyone working on the TFA TK communication sound? They have a distinct sound. I like it. Let's get it done. First Order iComm?? : )
  6. I agree with the folks here as well. Unless you get lucky and order just before a run or order armor that the maker says is ready and waiting, everything 501st takes forever. Well worth the wait though.
  7. It isn't noticeable from the front anymore. The crack was only in the return edge, not making it to the chest. The crack went together well and you would have to look very closely to see it. Hope this helps someone.
  8. While doing something I shouldn't have, I caused a hair-line crack in the return edge of my AM 2.0 chest. It was small but I could tell this would easily get out of control. Here's what I did after getting some ideas from others here. It feels very strong now. I may search out some other similar spots and reinforce where I can. I glued a small curved piece on the return edge to immediately stop that from moving. Then glued a long piece across the chest and added a fairly thick piece of ABS on top of that at the center.
  9. I'm a Herpetologist. I [emoji173]ĆÆĀø cobras most. [emoji216]
  10. I'm going to make a couple of easy changes and request to switch designation. I should have went stunt from the beginning. Thanks all.
  11. Except for the bubble lenses, I think I fit into ANH stunt and qualify (on paper) for EIB. Are there any details that I am missing between hero and stunt besides the helmet differences? They seem about the same. I can easily switch the lenses.
  12. I was approved as ANH Hero. I honestly didn't check the requirements for stunt. Maybe I should revisit my original designation. Thanks for the info so far.
  13. So, I tried my best to aim for EIB when I was building my AM 2.0 armor. I think I achieved all of the requirements except with the helmet. There are four bars on the ears and I'm pretty sure I have to have all 3 screws on each ear. Here are my questions: 1. Is this assessment correct? 2. Is there another bucket that matches the AM 2.0 armor best (color wise)? 3. I cut down my chest (new design) and back quite a bit. Are replacements still needed for centurion?
  14. I think they look good. I finished the AM build in October. I had to trim quite a bit off of the back of each shin. I also fixed the weird angles after they were all glued together by trimming off some of the return edge. There is plenty there to cut them evenly. Knee plate is going to cover the top of one anyway.
  15. I'm a 501st freshman, but I did the AM 2.0 build this summer. I did a lot of trimming but I like the armor. If I can help along the way I'll be happy to.
  16. I am still waiting for my status to be changed on 501st forum. Is there any way I can get the file sooner? I'd like to start messing with my shuffle. could someone send it to me or maybe it's here on FISD somewhere?
  17. Can you change my status from member to TK, please? TK 71024 Thanks. Sorry I couldn't figure out how to copy the link.
  18. I think I am going the way of the iComm. I would like it to be wireless, but I feel like fans, transmitter and mic are a lot to put in my bucket along with my above average melon. Also, it seems like quite a bit to hide in the chest/back/abdomen as well. I would appreciate any thoughts. I ve seen the diagrams, but is it a lot of weight?
  19. Thanks gentlemen. It's the AM 2.0 armor. I have been trying to keep centurion requirements in mind. If it's within my skills and equipment, I'm sticking to the highest level I can. I know the past AM armor had some pieces that wouldn't make centurion. Hopefully this addition is closer. I'm ok if I have to replace a couple pieces later.
  20. I'm not Mr. Olympia, but the biceps on my build are a little narrow. Is it ok to eliminate return edges on biceps? It would fix my issue I think.
  21. I'm going to check my stuff when I get home. So far I have only been working on forearms. My luck will give me two right shins. Thanks for all the pics and info. This has helped me quite a bit.
