PGHtoolman AM armor build
PGHtoolman replied to PGHtoolman's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
My advisor in Garrison Carida asked me to clean the teeth up a little bit more, Smooth them out and square them up. Sounds like a good idea to me once I had a chance to look at them again. The dental project will continue. I also got some magnets and padding ordered from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001KV38ES/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3AGENWXI1NDD0&coliid=I3FCS5PEJ1RF4M http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004RCLM8Q/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3AGENWXI1NDD0&coliid=I3CY6N729WCK0R -

Funny the trip they take, mine went to New Stanton a llitle over an hour East of Pittsburgh. Sit there a day then come back to the Burgh to get delivered. I look forward to watching your build, you are way more ready than I am on getting all of the "other" things you need. -

Eventually I would like to paint the inside and add some electronics. So I am planning on using screws to attach the face to the back. Sent from the Night Club's pay phone on the Death Star -

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I thought I had everything figured out as far as research..... then the box came and I was like a deer in the headlights. I have updated my photo post with the tutorials and build threads I am going to use for each of the sections. Thanks again for the advice. -

Fuumantroop's AM armor build

I think your right, from what I read there has been a lot of problems with the ears and helmet in the past. It looks like they took their time to get the new ones right and help out with the trimming. -
Today is the day that it will all begin. Like most build threads people start with the shot of the "box". Since I am a larger guy my brown box is just a little bit bigger.
-
I like this idea, I am going to add them to the box that I take on troops.
-
Check out the local 501st Garrison to see if they are going to be there. My local garrison is always looking for help. Its a great way to meet people and pick their brains.
-
I got the helmet as well. I wanted to keep all of the white as close as possible.

Awesome!!!! My box is to arrive on Wednesday can't wait to see how it goes. -
I am starting here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/26301-ne-helmet-build/
-
With the help of the FISD veterans and your local advisor of course. I don't want to wander down a pig trail and end up building it wrong.
-
Congrats on getting your armor. Read, read, read... measure twice, cut once. My box is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, keep an eye out for a new thread. Maybe we can bounce some ideas off each other.
