  3. Fixing the ANH Holster Holster straps need to be in the back instead of the front. I was too lazy to go get 9mm rivets. Instead I had Chicago screws in the garage. DONE!
  4. Adding Great Effects and Weathering Tomorrow, I will add some battle damage and weathering. To be continued . . . needs to dry tonight!
  5. Thank you Diana, Kyle, and Greg! Wow Greg! Centurion Badge looks awesome on your info list! So today...I made some progress on my Centurion preparations: Knock down the gold on the scope of your blaster. The scope needs to be darken with no gold and battle weathered for great effects. DONE! YOU CAN STILL SEE THE SCOPE INFO & MARKINGS

  8. EXPERT INFANTRY BADGE COMPLETED TODAY! Time to work on the final level . . . CENTURION . . . 1. Analysis the ANH Centurion requirements carefully. I don't want to miss anything. 2. Knock down the gold on the scope of your blaster. The scope needs to be darken with no gold and battle weathered for great effects. 3. I have been given the challenge to get into my armor in less than eight minutes. I will make some changes to my approach (challenge given by my fellow GGG members).
  9. Welcome Steve as our new XO and great introduction speech! Looking forward to exciting year ahead into the new SW era.
  10. WOO-HOO!!! THANK YOU!!! It feels great to achieve EIB! My ear supplier was ATA. They also supplied the green bubble lenses. Now its time to work on the Centurion Level. 1. Work on the holster attachment. 2. Knock down the gold on the scope of your blaster. 3. I have been given the challenge to get into my armor in less than eight minutes. So I will make some changes to my approach. Thank you again to all my mentors, veteran builders, and the Class of 2015 TKs!!!
  11. Tony.....What wiring are you using for the microphones?
  12. Thank you Eric, Tim, Scott, Anthony, and Germain! I'm working on the armor again today to eliminate more armor pinches.
  13. Thanks Scott! I found people using Apoxie Sculpt on the RPF (Replica Prop Forum).
  14. Thank you Steve, Greg, and Andrew. I added more pictures to my application. I think I got it all after re-reading the CRL for ANH Hero. Thanks again for catching that Andrew.

  16. Updating my Side Shims using Apoxie Sculpt NOTE: This shim pattern is no longer acceptable. Please do not follow my shim example below. Its no longer acceptable. I will try to update this post when I get the chance. Thank you! 04/08/2016. This is not a requirement, but I would like a clean look on my torso area. I originally used ABS paste to fill in the seam between my cod plate and side shims. I'm using Apoxie Sculpt again to update my side shims for EIB and Centurion Application (again...not a requirement but I want a clean look). Here's how I did it: After applying Apoxie Sculpt 24 hours ago, its time to scrap off and smooth out to an even look. I used my handy Kreshaw knife to remove the excess clay Next I used plumbers sanding tape to smooth out the roughness Finally, I used a fine sanding block to give it a final smooth finish Now its ready to paint. Again, I'm using Rust-Oleum 2x Ultra Cover Paint + Primer Gloss White. This is a perfect color match for NE armor. After two coats, this is the current look. You can't tell the shims are there anymore unless your getting a close up look. Finished.
  17. Thank you Anthony! I see we're from the same garrison. See you soon at the next troop!
