  1. Thanks! It s really not that difficult to do, so I would say go for it, I think it s a quite nifty feature:-)
  2. Started my build today....great way to spend time. I have looked at a lot of other builds, many of them extremely well made. I bought my Doopydoos kit a while ago, along with some other ones ( Hasbro conversion and DL-44 Greedo Killer). I want to pimp my build, like I have seen others do, but I do not plan on buying a real Scope or Hengstler...at least not with this build. Everything has been trimmed/sanded/ground. Real M6 screws at the muzzle and at the pistolgrip Ground out part of the butt. And the holes in the folding stock I have made dowels out of cutoff toothpicks, to make it more sturdy. I plan on attaching everything with dowels, superglue and/or epoxyglue Made the folding stock semi functional, and more sturdy by inserting screws ( the heads will be filled with putty ofcourse). The rear sight has had the serrated part enhanced with a nail file, and the hole has been drilled out Working trigger, made with a small nail/pin, and the spring from a ballpen.. Working fire selection lever, made with a miniture bolt and nut
  3. Hahahaha....great humor.....and shooting in general is great fun!.....:-)...
  4. Ser bra ut David!. Looking real good! I started working on my Doopydoos kit yesterday. It does unfortunately not come with a bolt, but I intend to make a similar system as yours with the bolt and cocking handle.... I have seen so many pimps of those resin kits, I am thrilled to continue working on mine..:-).
  5. I have not tried it, but it says on the bottle that it can be sprayed on......whether it is good or not, I don't know...:-)
  6. They look fine!...good luck on the painting:-)
  7. Yup, do that, but put on some compeed bandaid......or follow one of the suggestions I gave you...
  8. I am using an Ipad, so the interface is not the same, hence no picture button
  9. Thanks mate:-)....I cracks a bit when you put them on, but it does not come off, its flexible. Yeah saw them, and they are awesome.... You could continue to walk them until they fit, where exactly does it hurt?.and how much is it?...you can soak the left in water and walk around in it, or put in a shoe tree in it, or lastly see a real cobbler who can expand it for you...
  10. Faaaantastic boots!....good luck on the paint job!....Have you tried them on? I think wearing them for a while before starting the painting would be wise:-).....
  11. The end result Pretty happy with it, but will paint another pair, and maybe do it differently.......

  13. Ok that worked, but how the devil do you embed the photo, instead of linking?.??!??
  14. I know mate:-)...I am trying to figure it out, for future photos.....

  17. Have been walking around the house for a couple of hours, wearing my new Stormtrooper boots... The fit is great (already knew that ofcourse, as they are my old paradeboots). Paint is coming off in the creases in the leather, but I figure that it did that on the original boots as well, so I will just touch up with either Angelus, or just normal shoewhitener....giving them that original, lightly scuffed look...... I have just found another pair, that look even more like the real deal, which I will paint as well, so as to have two different pairs...
  18. Spasiba Alexey :-). Yes nine layers, and I just used the same paint all over, including the eleastic band.......
