  1. I hope you didn't take my reply the wrong way. I wasn't being sarcastic, I really like the wonky look that the old suits had! Anyways, what return edges on the faceplate do you mean?
  2. Thanks Vern! Stunt-like wonkiness is just about the best compliment I'd love to hear!
  3. Hi, EIB approval: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/25237-tk-24127-requesting-anh-stunt-eib-status-rs-338/ Evan Loh TK-24127 UK Garrison Armor = RS Prop Masters Helmet= RS Prop Masters Blaster= RS Prop Masters Height = 5'8" Weight = 75 Kilograms Boots = RS Prop Masters Canvas belt = RS Prop Masters Gloves = RS Prop Masters Neck Seal = RS Prop Masters Holster = RS Prop Masters Armor Photos Full Body Front Full Body Back Full Right Full Left Right Side Detail Left Side Detail Helmet Detail Photos Front Lens color Side Back Hovi tip detail Accessory Photos Ammo belt Drop Box Back Holster Neckseal Blaster left side Blaster right side Thermal detonator back Interior Strapping Abdomen Detail Ammo Knee Belt Sniper Knee Plate Gloves Shoulder Straps Crotch Snap Action Shot
  4. I'd be interested to know too. And Congrats Michael on achieving EIB status!
  5. Evan Loh 24127 EIB A4 Thank you
  6. Front pic without the extra strands of white hanging down from the belt
  7. I will get myself into an armour party then Mods I made here are the trimmed ab/kidney plates, trimmed thigh cover strips. Front Back Right Left Right Detail Left Detail
  8. My acetone arrived today and I'll start making the ABS paste to address the rivet alignment. Do I need to sort that to pass the EIB standards?
  9. I have updated my post with new pictures after trimming the kidney/ab plates.
  10. My armour is made out of PVC and not ABS though I'll just have to look for ABS. Will have to check if hardware/DIY shops sell any ABS scraps
  11. Thanks Glen. I don't have any ABS scraps with me but I have some PVC scraps at the moment. I assume they would have the same effect under acetone?
  12. I have trimmed the cover strips on the thighs and trimmed the kidney and ab plate so they don't overlap as badly as it did before. I have not yet worked on the rivet alignments and do plan to soon as I haven't had the time to make my own PVC/ABS paste yet. (Would it work if I got white plaster or a similar sort?) I hope my changes have made a positive difference
  13. Hello, I am 5 feet 8 inches I weigh 75 kg Holster is made out of leather and ordered from RS. The shoulder straps are present. Are you referring to these? I was told to trim behind the knees both on the shin and the thighs so it'd be more comfortable when walking/trooping. I never knew that it was not advised to trim past the ridge area. Do you have any advice on how to rectify the problem? At the moment I'm working on trimming the kidney plate so it won't overlap too much. Problem is that the belt I received was too short and to wrap it round my waist it needed to be quite tight thus causing the kidney plate to overlap the ab plate. But I can rectify that by trimming it slightly.
  14. That can be something I can look into. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll try and find some ABS paste in the local store or Amazon
  15. No offense taken. Always happy to take feedback and learn from it. You may have realized by now that I'm not really good at DIY and measurements and you probably won't be surprised to hear that this is in fact my first DIY project. (I know I should've tried on something less expensive right?) Nonetheless I do remember trying to match and align them but I do regret not taking greater effort to make sure they are really aligned. I will have to be a lot more careful the next time I build a new set and learn that not taking proper and accurate measurements can lead to drastic effects.
