  1. Good on ya mate. I'll look forward to your casts as I too am looking for some affordable blasters!
  2. Thanks Dennis. Wonderful artwork there!
  3. Evan Loh 24127 Centurion A4
  4. Hi Jeff, First you would want to request for 501st status using this link: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16-501st-trooper-status-requests-include-link-to-your-501st-profile-in-your-request/page-1 Then apply for EIB and then Centurion after EIB approval Link for EIB: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/95-expert-infantryman-program/ Link for Centurion: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/66-fisd-centurion-program/ HOW TOs (a more detailed guide for EIB and Cent respectively): http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/36-howto-expert-infantry-application-guidelines/ & http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/35-howto-legion-centurion-application-guidelines/ The links can be found in the forum homepage itself so you won't have to keep referring to this post XD
  5. Welcome! Definitely get into an armour party. You'll get much much help there. I only wish I went for one during my build!
  6. ^^ Stormtrooper armour MK3? At least now they won't get downed in one blast from a rebel scum and speared by Ewoks. Plus they might even have targeting systems installed!
  7. Straightened the curves on the thigh pack too
  8. Aw I can't hate my DL And you're only trying to make my armor look better I hope these are what you are looking for! Edit: Wasn't satisfied with the look so I trimmed off more and uploaded this on instead
  9. ABS paste has done wonders for me. Might as well call it wonder-paste. I'm not sure how effective ABS paste would be on the numerous "indents or divots" though. It tends to give a rough feel you'll have to sand it down after the past has dried (well most of the time not always). What I have used ABS paste for so far is sealing holes or reinforcing cracks.
  10. EDIT: please view previous post. Meant to edit my previous post but accidentally made a new one.
  11. Woops just read your message after posting my forearms. Here is the thigh pack
  12. I have moved my faceplate forward as required The knee ammo pack has been trimmed Forearms Hope all goes well
  13. Loving the moustache! Wish I could pull off that look! and I wish my build was as clean as yours! You look really good in it!
  14. Congrats mate and welcome to the Legion fellow trooper!
  15. Neat! Nice to see your build coming up so nicely. And I love your attention to details and measurements. Will recommend your thread to my friend at Sweden who is planning to buy an armour too
  16. Update: I've decided not to drill out the rivets for now to fix the brow gap unless it becomes a show stopper for Centurion app. What I've done for this Cent app (as recommended before applying for Cent): I've trimmed some return areas to reduce the chances of cracks on the ab plate and back plate. As seen from my EIB app my rivets are not aligned. I have now aligned them up and replaced the drilled holes with ABS paste.
  17. Thanks for the tips vern. I'll try and get a smaller drill bit.
  18. Yeah not really inclined to do it. Tried drilling again and the rivet got too hot and melted some of the plastic... EDIT: no serious damage done to the helmet thankfully. Just popped in a bigger rivet and all is fine
  19. I've tried removing the pop rivets in the helmet but I am experiencing great difficulty in trying to remove them. Drilling is difficult as I can't get a nice angle to drill properly. The brow gap bother me as much as it bothers you guys probably even more, but I really don't want to risk destroying the helmet
  20. Thanks Charles, will get trimming then and will have to drill the rivets out of the faceplate
