The show is 100% scripted. Except the transactions are real. You need to apply to get on the show and sell something, but, the sale itself and the price paid is real. Sure the list is subjective. But, I would had love knowing about the FISD before I purchased an FX armor (a real used one from 2002) and an eFX bucket. I was pointed this out by a friend with all the best intentions in the world. But, I did not know about the FISD, would have certainly known aboit it before.
