  1. They were flattened a bit more and covered to prevent snags/slicing.

  6. Congratulations! Welcome to the ranks.

  8. This worked beautifully. Thanks!
  9. Nice! I'll admit I was one of the panicked newbies. Keep it up.
  10. The brackets tend to lose the nuts easily. Grab some lock-tite to keep them from falling out. I've already lost a bracket (replaced now) and a few nuts and screws.
  11. Which version of the wax? They have a lit of different products?
  12. Congrats! Welcome to the ranks.
  13. Woot! You'll be trooping with us in no time.
  14. Nice clips on TD! I haven't used CA glue before. You may want to ask around before doing anything with the forearms. The bicep hooks I believe work if your arms are shorter. I can't use them.
  15. Also for eib the belt boxes need to be at the ends of the belt. I kept mine in place using Velcro on the straps. The shoulder bridges also look a little strange as they go back so far on the back plate and don't appear even in the pix but it may just be a repositioning thing. Also I'm not familiar with MTK armor. Good luck
  16. Woot! Nice to see it all coming together.
  17. Thank you for the warning. I utilized those bags on my bin as well. Looks like I need to find another bag.
  18. Kids will also want to play and run around. It's fun to engage in this a little but it can get out of hand for some locations. This is where the handlers are great to calm things down to the appropriate level. If solo you'll have to reign in the little ones before they get too roudy.
  19. That should be perfect, but try walking around with them a bit.
  20. Labels are important to prevent those mistakes. The tricky part is getting the top and bottom looking right. You don't want an obvious gap. Some pictures of the pieces fitted (held with tape) may help us to see the situation better and offer more helpful advice.
  21. Keep up the good work and I'll pitch in my help when I can.
  22. I'd go with gray pvc (schedule 40 in the plumbing section) for the thermal detonator. Then you won't have to paint it and it won't need to be retouched. Just my two cents
  23. Here is a link to my EIB application: TK-30605 Requesting ANH Stunt EIB [ATA][354] A big 'Thank You' to everyone who helped me along the way. With a few touch ups I may be ready for the next step; centurion.
