  1. This thread has me terrified about my Centurion application I posted yesterday morning.
  2. I think I forgot to post my EIB application on this submission. Here is the EIB thread link. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/25687-tk88980-requesting-anh-stunt-eib-status-tm-348/ Thank you for your consideration. Tim
  3. Thanks Evan. I spent a bunch of time on it for sure. My first build was AP armor that I turned into a TD but the TM armor I took a my time on. I was afraid to mess it up so I followed the forums very closely to be as accurate as I could. Thanks for the kind words.
  4. Done the same way as the right side Mathias. I had to pull the entire thing off and I redid it. It was not as bad as I thought it would be and I am happy I did it as you both indicated. I also trimmed both sides of the flashing down like you had mentioned. Thanks again for all the help. Tim
  5. I just finished working on my first TM kit and it was amazing to work with. Just my two cents.
  6. Fixed it Eric! I just sent in my centurion application. Thanks you for all the help with this process.

  8. Outstanding! Thanks fellas. I sure appreciate it and will move the ammo pack tonight before applying for Centurion. I will trim the top and bottom flashing like Mathias requested and move it down. I looked at the screen shots Eric sent and I guess it is ok if it is a little wonky as long at it lines up with the edge on the bottom. I was worried more about it being level but I guess it really doesn't matter. Thanks for all of your help and suggestions and making it a great experience to apply for EIB. When I do apply for centurian do I need to enter all the shots again or can this be moved over? Thank you again and I will make the corrections now. Cheers, Tim
  9. Great question Francisco! I am not sure. This was the holster that I recieved with my first set of AP armor. I turned the AP into a sandy and swiped the holster for the TM. Even if it does not effect EIB or Centurion, I think I might change it just for accuracy. I have done all this work already, what the hell!

  11. And now I wait for access. I think I have everything in order to apply for EIB. I do however think I have way to many photos.
  12. That very well be what the problem is Clamps! I just applied and hope they grant it soon. I am chompin at the bit to submit my new TM for EIB. Thanks for the help sir!
  13. Please enable me for 501 access. I need it to apply for EIB. TK-88980 501st link http://www.501st.com/members/displaymember.php?userID=15209&costumeID=124
  14. He everyone. I am trying to submit photos for EID status and I am having a bit of a problem posting. When I go to the page apply for EIB, it does not allow me to start a topic. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to go about it. I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong area but I really want to get my application started and I hit a road block. Thanks in advance with the help Tim
  15. Outstanding! I got figured out. The belt helped a bunch to pull it in. The build is now complete and Paul you make some sweet armor my friend!
  16. I am almost finished with my TM build that I got from Paul. The problem I have is that that when I close up the ab plate with the kidney and but plate it is a bit sloppy. Is it ok to trim a bit off the sides of the ab plate? I will be applying for both EIB and Centurion and I don't want it to affect that. It is however about in inch or two sloppy. Any help would be appreciated. Tim
  17. I must be missing something because I suck at it. I have my TM armor finished except for strapping and accents to make EIB and Centurion. I have tried a couple of sample rivets and it seems like one of the arms of the rivets bends first and the second is next to impossible to fold over without screwing up the armor. I tried a pliers and it mars the heck out of the rivet even with tape or a cloth behind it. Can anyone direct me on how to buy the stupid tool to install them? I am so close and don't want to wreck my new armor for a detail. I will try the short handled Philips driver Francisco. Do you by any chance have a photo of the one you use? I am desperate!!!!
  18. I have my armor ready to put together and I am ready to do the strapping, rivets and details. I have TM armor from Paul and I will be going for centurion. The big problem I have is how the heck do I use the split rivets without wrecking my armor? I have tried using a screw driver/chisel to bend them down but it seems like one side is always a major problem. I know there is a tool you can buy for 40.00 but man there must be an easy way to do it. I want to do it right and my test rivets all ended up very poorly. If anyone has any help on this I sure would appreciate it. I am sooooooo close and I don't want to mess up the armor. Thanks in advance for the help. Tim
  19. Ok. Everyone was right. This hobby can spin out of control very quickly. I finished my first TK and put an order in for TM before it was even completed. The AP stuff was fantastic but man, is this TM amazing!. I started to assemble the bucket and I am having problems like everyone else with the ears. I am posting a link to my photobucket to see if anyone can give me a some insight on ear fitting. http://s1272.photobucket.com/user/tytlinez/library/TM%20ear%20piece%20project I also am sending the submission photos from my AP anh stunt. I would like to apply for Expert Infantry but wanted to see what I need to change on it. I will be trying to do the new TM to Centurion level if I can. Here are the picks from my AP. http://s1272.photobucket.com/user/tytlinez/library/501%20submission%20photos Any help is sure appreciated! If it wasn't for this forum I would be walking around in Rubies or Ebay stuff for sure. A huge thank you to everyone for all the help. Tim-TK-88980
  20. I am struggling with the ear pieces right now! I just recieved my new TM armor and have the helmet assembled and can't get the ear pieces to fit. I seems like I need to twist and really manipulate them to get them close. I am so excited about this armor and don't want to mess it up. HELP!!!
