Thanks for input guys. I know it's a bit pricey, but you only live once and besides the wife gave it the ok. Gotta have the approval of the Senate before moves like this are made

It is sterling silver and is a bit pricey at over $500.00 USD. You can get it in stainless for over $400.00 but the shipping is free worldwide. I will definitely be posting actual pics when it comes in.

Yes, approval for both logos was obtained.

I'm sure it would. Just submit the logos and style ring you want to use and Ring Source will work it up for you and send you the design. I had to go with a "signet " style ring but depending on what you would want to do you might be able to go with a different style. I think they have over 280 styles to choose from. They even have free worldwide shipping and engraving. I'm having my TK ID engraved on the inside.

So for the past month or two I've been working on an idea for a stormtrooper ring. Originally was looking at a "class ring" style, but with the amount of detail in the logos I wanted to use it wouldn't be feasible. I came up with a design that would work and submitted it to a custom ring company to have made. I'm about 3 weeks away from getting it shipped to me but check out the image and let me know what you all think. Thanks Brian (TK-6287)
  6. That is one awesome costume! Great job!
  7. I have the hooks on my calves and I have to put the shins on first then hook them. If I hook them before then I don't have enough room to slide my foot through. Sorry but I don't have any pics at the moment.
  8. You could also try zap a gap. Stuff works great.
  9. May I suggest using zap a gap. I've used this many times and have never had it melt plastic.
  10. Well I always enjoy a good zombie movie or book, so if you haven't read Death Troopers I would recommend that one. Nothing like undead troopers chasing after Han and Chewbacca. Good times!
  11. I think the book you are referring to is Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader. It takes place after Ep. III with Vader still trying to get used to his new suit while tracking down Jedi and certain Senators. The author is James Luceno. I don't know of any sequels after this one though. Hope this helps.
  12. TM(troopermaster) makes great armor. You can find him on the whitearmor site. (just look in the members section) You can buy the armor built or unbuilt. When it comes to buying boots I recommend TK boots. RS Propmasters. They also have great armor. http://www.rspropmas...m/stormtrooper/ Hope this helps.
  13. Very cool Cristian! I am a big WWII enthusiast. Looks like the last battle scene from Saving Private Ryan. Well done!
  14. Same here. I used hot glue on my lens and have not had a problem with them.
  15. I have a set of FX armor and have been in the 501st since 2007. It works well, but the first thing to be changed should be the helmet. It wasn't called the bobblehead kit for nothing. If you plan on doing a lot of troops with kids, then this kit is fine. In all the years I've been at troops with a bunch of kids not once have I had them say that my armor is not screen accurate. They don't care. All they see, especially if it's a birthday, is a Stormtrooper and he looks cool. If down the line you want to go more screen accurate, then start making your mods. You will get a lot of good advice and suggestions from your fellow troopers here.
  16. Charles, Congrats on the armor. I ordered one of those doopydoo kits and while it does make the Hasbro gun look a lot better, I have found that a hyper-firm blaster is much better looking and much lighter. I don't know what your spending limit is, but I got one from the guys at sci-fire.com and don't regret it at all. They make an ANH, ESB, and ROTJ version of the E-11 and when it arrives it is already painted and weathered. The price was around $200-$250. Hope this helps. Brian (TK-6287) Golden Gate Garrison
