There is a tradition in the Canadian Garrison that you are not allowed to pick your own nickname. It is given to you. A name may be nominated but it must be supported by two other CG members. Typically the names come from random inspired actions/events. It's common for our garrison to go out for dinner and drinks after a troop and the gents and ladies of the Canadian Garrison stared noticing my love for dill pickles. Many incriminating photos ensued. Also, without warning, my handle here on FISD was "mysteriously" changed to "Pickles" (looking at you Eric!). hahaha Photoshopping followed shortly thereafter... hehe

I ended up choosing AM because of my hip/thigh size. I believe the size difference between AP and RS is next to negligible.

Hahaha, yes. I was tired of those Scouts always showing off their sittiness. It is pretty hard on the armor though. I don't baby my plastic.

The article almost lost me with the claim that we hate SW, but I read on and found myself shaking my head in bemused agreement. I wonder what the author would have to say about Rebels. I find myself enjoying it despite the fluff.

Hiya Eliza! Welcome to FISD. I'm 5'8" and have the AM lite kit (lite = w/o the AM bucket, I went with AP as it's a little more accurate). The armor has plenty of chest room, for a B cup anyways. You can poke through the photos in my troop log (see link in signature) to see how it fits on my frame. I had to modify the chest to get EIB status. I hope you have fun as a TX but nothing beats the sheer impressiveness as a group of uniform shiny whites! lol Cheers!

I put a square of eva foam on the inside knee of my sniper plate, mostly because the pinching from walking around at C6 ended up drawing blood.

Getting there Rod! I had also though about painting the rivets before attaching them but ultimately ended up not doing that and used white nail polish on them afterwards.
