  1. Overall, these are the major steps.

Step 1 is after receiving the kit it to put it on and get pictures of you from all angles and a bucket off. Then post images in a thread here to share with everyone to gauge the overall look and fit. If the consensus is you look great. Then you would submit for 501st approval following the guidelines outlined here:

    http://www.501st.com/databank/Membership:JoinUs

Also reach out to your local Garrison command staff as a heads up for any local process variances.

Once you are cleared and approved and assigned a TK ID you will then request 501st access here on FISD following steps outlined in this thread.

    http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16-501st-trooper-status-requests-include-link-to-your-501st-profile-in-your-request/

Once access granted. You then follow process for applying for EIB, assuming you have all correct mods and photos. Process and links here

Once granted EIB do it all over again with Centurion process

  2. Hey Matt, welcome aboard. As mentioned in our brief PM, take some time and lots of notes in the Getting Started Forums. This will help you understand the options available to you and direction you need to get started. I will be here to support you along with other local Toronto troopers.

I'll put a note in our PM discussion with how we can connect locally.

Good luck, and study hard, lots to learn here!

  3. So we may have gotten off to a whee bit of a late start but the Canadian Garrison had a fantastic weekend of troops we have locally affectionately dubbed the 'Troopfecta'

We had 10 troopers show up, 6 of which were TKs. Here is the group photo.

  4. Going on 9 years cold turkey of being finished. It is still hard. I still miss it. My goal was to be healthier and a better role model for my daughter and now son. When it gets tough I think about that and the desire fades fast.

Good luck and congrats for making the decision to be done with it.

  5. Welcome aboard Travis. Definitely take the time to research and look at builds of troopers that match your size to see what kit you feel will best suit you. Take your time and don;t rush into any decisions. As mentioned above, spend a lot of time digging through these threads as well:

When deciding on how to best spend your money, don;t be lured by cheap eBay listings. more often than not you'll end up disappointed.

Be sure to reach out to your "local" Garrison (http://www.badlands.ca/forum/portal) to get to know the membership and command staff; they'll be your Future extended family.

    Good luck!

  6. TK-25267 Charles “Clamps†Bowes Actually, Clamps only brought his Tusken (and no TK-repair kit!) so he doesn't count!  :P Feel free to 'boo' him in every post possible, lol. Or maybe just put a TK boot square in his cod.

What was that you say? I couldn't be bothered to hear you, I was busy playing some Pinball and Donkey Kong in the Arcade:
