That's a picture of my suit if im not mistaken....the RS fit my torso just fine without any extreme trimming, i trimmed mine about the same yours and im 5'6" and have a 32" waist. Once you got the armor assembled, just tighten your belt.....the ab and kidney will overlap each other....imho i think it will look fine rather than trimming unneccesarily (i think there were a few troopers in the movie that had theirs overlap) And as you can see in my picture, i had too much return edge on my butt, kidney, and back plate...you dont want that, it'll crack easier with big return edges, ive trimmed mine to a very minimal return edge since....

Looking good trooper...... You need to add a D-ring on your E-11. Good luck.....

Looking good sir. If i could make one small suggestion also, you might want to reposition your snaps for the holster. They are way too far up, and end up in the middle of the belt. You could bring it down more, especially if your intentions are EIB and Centurion. Cant wait to see the finished product, keep up the good work..

So after 2 1/2 months of trimming, gluing, painting and all the wonderful process of completing this build, I am finally finished with it. Dude you suit is looking awesome.... As for painting the black elastic to simulate the white glue..... My little secret is white acrylic paint... Works asesome, and looks great..you may have to put on a few coats, wait for it to dry a bit, and do the next layer...

And yes, centurion is worth it...

Use some novus polish and it'll remove the scratch....
