  1. No problem!! Just wanted to correct the advice I'm giving!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. So no velcro in the back? Keep it the same as ANH? (Confirming for a friend!)
  3. Thanks so much, troopers!!! It's an honor and I'm proud to represent this cadre! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. thanks, snaps! Yeah, it probably the lighting, because my big worry was the two separating too much, so I even had to redo the snap attachments underneath to tighten it up at one point. If it is overlap, it's entirely possible my mind told my body to lean back more to avoid that!! If it affects the app, I'm sure I can take a better picture. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks so much! I've got plenty to work on in the meantime, so no rush. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I understand now - I had EIB previously, so I'm not a new number. Hence "approved". But that's fine by me! Good luck, troopers - onto the next forum!
  7. Howdy, commanders. This is my second suit of TK-ANH-Stunt armor and my first application for Centurion. My AM1.0 suit is four years old and about to be stationed on Tatooine. I've also lost a bit of weight since the first build and gained much knowledge, so my attempt was to build to Centurion right out of the gate. 8. Thanks, y'all. Onto Centurion! Not sure how to change the title to include the 501 number, though.
  9. THANKS!!! As cool as 500 is, I'm even more stoked to be #501. . I'll take some pictures of interior strapping for posterity and get that Centurion application up this weekend! Thanks to everyone for their help along the way, both known and unknown. I've been on these forums for 5 years and would not have been able to do this without all of your knowledge and assistance! Troop on! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks Tim! I can submit a better photo- the tops align with the top of the ridge, and end at the "squared off" section on the back of the thigh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've also lost a bit of weight since the first build and gained much knowledge, so my attempt was to build to Centurion right out of the gate. Without further ado... 12. Brian - you did not mention to make any cuts in the forearms/bracers and I was wondering if holes were cut there (with a fabric backing)? In particular, I'm talking about the black stripe towards the elbow-bend behind the "tracks". It looks like it could be a cut-out. Additionally, on some of the cardboard cutout details of the forearm boxes (where we're looking at the duct tape), it looks like the square detail is also cut out. What say you, sir? Thanks for all your help on these details, Brian!
  13. Thanks. On a similar note, you noted for accuracy to also cut the chest vent. How far along the detail is supposed to be cut out of the chest vent? Just along the bottom, or all the way up the "U" in the vent?
  14. Can anyone give any tips about if they are cutting out the pill holes in the chest, biceps, and shin? Or are you sticking with the decals? And if you are cutting, what is your method?
  15. I'm having trouble locating the file for the shims you mentioned here. Could you direct me where to find this particular file? (Feel free to PM me if it is in a pdf that cannot be posted publicly.)
  16. Jesus. You make it look easy. Seriously fantastic documentation. This is a super help for those of us nervous to start gluing.
  17. Perfecto. Sounds good to me and I'll be putting it up for EIB the moment I get it done. Thanks for the input, all. Didn't want to waste the EI judge's time but happy to get folks to look at it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Question about the thigh box attachment. Adding the wrap around my thigh is showing a lot of excess at the knee. I was wondering how much (if any) could be removed from the thigh box attachment to allow for a better fit? If I align on the inside (which I want to do)... ... it gives a fairly centered look for the boxes (especially when tightened- this photo is loose, as I couldn't hold it in 3 places and take the picture)... But on the outside I have faaaaar too much hanging off. Would I be able to trim some of the single edge back? Or both? So that the two ends give a better fit around the thigh? (I also assume screen accuracy doesn't require it being centered, so if that goes, so be it.) Vital stats: NE/AM2.0 kit, Centurion-level build. Thanks for the help! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Agreed - hence my curiosity. It's the same ID tag. Same costume build, but new armor.
  20. I have an EIB award with my current costume (AM) and have worn that for almost 4 years now. I'm currently working on building a new kit (the NE) to Centurion standards. However, both costumes follow the same CRL (ANH-Stunt). (The plan is to convert the older costume to a TD later on.) So my question: I have an award for EIB ANH-Stunt, but since this is a new costume, would I have to re-apply for ANH-stunt EIB, so that I can apply for Centurion? Or is it considered a full upgrade? (Theseus' Ship kind-of-a-thing? As each piece gets upgraded, is it considered the same costume, or a new one entirely?) Either way is fine with me - I'm confident in my build. I just don't want to jump the gun.
  21. It's currently unavailable to the general public. Armor kits were sold to us as a marketing kit to determine any issues or problems before it is made available. *bump* for my post above. Did anyone have any problem slimming down some of the armor pieces (legs, forearms, biceps)?
