  1. I don't either. I used weather stripping foam (sticky on one side) to get a snug fit.
  2. Absolutely not! Either you are lucky like my husband and I and love to troop together or you are lucky like some of my friends and love to support each other in your varied interests. Period.
  3. 6'-0" and 185 lbs. my RT was perfect right out of the box!
  4. I have found plumbers goop effective when E6000 was hard to find. Bonded quickly.
  5. Ooo... Have fun! I remember when mine was laid out on the floor like that. Sigh. Fond memories!
  6. I'm with ya. When we were in central BC every troop was a trip. Made every one that much more special!
  7. I chose the ANH Stunt because I've always thought of it as the "classic" stormtrooper.
  8. Thirteen so far in 2012. That's pretty good for our neck of the woods!
  9. [quote name=RogueTrooper' timestamp='1339392516' post='243326' I did an article last year that highlighted some of are great women that wear white armor. Here the link to it: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=16812 We will have the first Female Centurion there at C6 (Olga Plaza, TK9061. She is in the Florida Garrison, Everglades Squad). Hope it helps man. See ya at C6. Thanks for posting that link! I had a lot of fun answering those questions.
  10. Depends on how your bucket fits. I have lots of room at the front but non on the sides so wrap-arounds didn't work for me. Take your bucket to the glasses store with you to fit them and make sure you clean your lenses with anti-fog before you kit up.
  11. I am a glasses wearer and find contacts very uncomfortable. That being said, I did get contacts to wear under my bucket. They are uncomfortable and I don't see nearly as well but its better than blind or foggy.
  12. Make sure you sign up at Special Ops too. http://forum.501stspecopsdet.net/ They will be able to help a lot. BTW that AM kit is hawt!
  13. My husband has an AM TX and he had the same problem. He fixed it with black elastic stirrups from either side of the ankle to under the arch of the boot. Doesn't show at all and also stops the shin from twisting if you are having that problem too. I have also seen Velcro on the back of the boot and the bottom of the calf but it didn't seem as effective.
  14. Star Wars Identities opened last weekend in Edmonton. 501st Badlands Garrison represented from Friday night to Sunday afternoon and fun was had by all. There is something for everyone, I highly recommend it. Now on until April at the Telus World of Science. Go see it, it's awesome!
  15. But wait ... isn't ebay the only place to get authentic, licenced, & top quality items? LOL. And don't worry about coming off to strong. You're impressed with yourself, you had a great experience and you learned a tonne. There is no reason to censor yourself when sharing that, and chances are your obvious enthusiasm may prove to be contagious. And you did you did specifically state: “this is what worked for meâ€, so it’s all good in my mind. Again Congrats!
  16. I got mine from the Tandy Leather factory: ------ It does make it very easy to put on and take off ... Which is great for getting kitted up but there is a chance it could just as easily be removed by a "sticky fingered fan".
  17. Good lookin' kit. How much extra was the cat? My FX/AM should arrive Monday, and there are a few kits arriving in the mail this week and next. Don't forget to post over at the spec. ops board: http://www.501stspecopsdet.net/forum/index.php?/index
