Well, Mark has been emailing me alot today and has offered to send me a new set of armour. Thank you Mark for taking care of me in this matter. I did'nt mean to make a problem for you I just want my armour to look as good as all the other AP's on here. He really has gone out of his way to sort this. Thanks again. Rob.

Please don't think that by starting this thread I am trying to paint a dark picture of Mark. I know he has many, many happy customers and has always replied to my emails quickly througout the ordering process. I just really don't know what to do now.

I have been in touch with AP quite a bit today. He has advised me that a new chest is probably not a good idea as it will not match the colour. To be honest it needs a new Ab and butt section too. He told me that all of this run have these stretch marks and that it is quite normal but I just think it looks horrible. The advice he has given me is to sell the suit at a discount and then wait another month for a new one from him which I don't really want to do if the new one would have these marks on it anyway. I have asked for a refund but this is something that he cannot do. So I'm a bit stuck now and don't really know what to do. It's just a bit dissapointing as I already waited two months for it to be delivered. Does anyone know what this suit would be worth if I sold it?

I,ve just had a good look at the other parts and the AB, butt and face plate all have these defects. I have contacted Mark so hopefully he will help me out. Not too happy though.

Well my AP kit came today. Seeing all those parts just makes me think 'man I'm really gonna mess this up'. I just have a couple of questions. On some of the pieces, but most obviously on the chest plate, there is like a shadow of the moulding. It's hared to explain but looks pretty bad. Do all chest plates have this? Also I thought that the strips for the legs and arms came with the suit. How can I get ABS sheet that will match the colour of the armour? Most of the pieces are scratched up too. Will these polish out with plastic polish. Any help would be great. Rob.

Sorry if this is a really stupid question but I am not good at all when it comes to electronics. I am planning to add sound to my AP when I have built it and have done lots of research on here about all the different set ups. I have decided to play it simple and go for the AKER voice amp. Does the Rom/fx plug into the aker to give you the static burst or is the Rom/fx a voice amp on it's own? Like I said, sorry to ask such a noob question. Rob.

I've not seen one either but I ordered one about ten weeks ago and it has not come yet. They seem to be having a supply problem at the moment. From pics I have seen I think it looks pretty good. But like I said, I'm no expert.

Hello all. I am waiting for my AP kit to arrive and have been doing all the reasearch that this wonderful site has to offer and getting all the tools ready for the build. This will be my first armour build and I am quite worried about messing it up but my main worry is when I come to glue the parts together. Whenever I have to use glue I always use too much and end up getting in a mess and the last thing I want is to have glue all over the parts. Has anyone ever tried using double sided car foam tape on the finishing strips. They use this stuff to mount alot of trim on cars but mainly for number plates. I've used this alot in the past as I used to work on cars and it is VERY strong. The only down side would be that I would have a 1mm gap in between the armour and the finishing strip. Do you think this would be worth a try or should I just use the tried and tested E6000 method. Any opinions would be appreciated. Rob.
