  1. I did on my E-11 hyperfirm then I inserted a brass tube to give it that gun barrel look. My only advice would be to not go too deep as there is usually a fiberglass rod in the middle if it's anything like the E-11.
  2. Found mine at ACE hardware, but I don't remember the brand though.
  3. Trying to remove them once there glued is not something to would want to do but they will come back off with some effort. All you have to do is get one corner pulled up then slowly cut the glue until you can peel it off. Most of the time you can just adjust the length of the straps.
  4. I use that website for the most part but instead of using scrap pieces of ABS for the snap plates I used canvas doubled up with good old E-6000 glue. I'm sure webbing would work the same. My thinking was that most of the armor has curves where you want to attach a snap and having a cloth like base contours to the natural shape inside the armor and gives you more gluing area. The E-6000 gets into the fabric and creates a fiberglass like patch. Best part is if the snap wears our you can just peal up a corner of the canvas base and cut the glue off with a little effort. Not something you can do with the ABS method using ABS glue. Just my 2 cents worth!
  5. I've got a RT-mod helmet too. My hat size is the same as yours and it fits just fine. The RT is made to be something like 4% or 5% bigger scale to balance out the look of someone larger than your standard trooper. I don't know much about ATA but I hear good things.
  6. I still swear by E-6000 since it doesn't warp or melt if you use to much and it comes off if you really need it to.
  7. Shouldn't be a problem. I had the same issue. Just snap a picture with the belt undone in the back.
  8. Logged out and refreshed page still the same, no blue buttons/lights.
  9. I too have used Goo Gone on my armor with no bad effects.
  10. I'm pretty sure they will work for EIB & Centurion requirements. Mike from trooperbay has the good stuff.
  11. Wonder if MonCal would do a run of these?!? I know I'd pick one up!
  12. Dave's Garage on YouTube helped me get some of the basics down.
  13. Both the AM and the RT-Mod helmets are made for bigger noggins. The RT-Mod would be the more accurate of the two. I know there's some pics somewhere showing the size difference in the more common helmets.
  14. That first troop is something special for sure. Hope you have someone taking LOTS of pictures cause it is a event you will want to remember again and again! And the pictures also serve a purpose to see if that "bicep or shin really was as out of place as I thought" so you can start making those little tweaks. Good Luck Trooper!
  15. Just on the left side bar on the main page. All the CRL's are there. You'll have to go into each one to have a look but it's as close as I seen to what you're looking for.
  16. How 'bout "too bald to be a wookie", no that would get you in trouble too. lol
  17. My wife is 5'0" and I got her AM Shadow trooper approved. It can be done even with the larger armor it's all in the trimming and cutting. Enduring the "too short for a stormtrooper" that's something else.
  18. As a fellow RT-Mod wearing TK, you're looking good!
