I don't know if I have the right to reply here as I'm not a 501st member, but just to add my two cents : I would trim a bit more the right eye (well, the one on the right when you look at the pics ); Hero helmets's eyes were fully trimmed AFAIK.

No, Doopydoos mic tips aren't accurate. There is no internal "tit", the mesh is really inaccurate, and for the price there is no bolt behind to attach it to the helmet... If you want good mic tips, go for Keith's ones.

Yep, of course you can be approved with it, but buying from this kind of people encourages recasting, not the best thing to do from my point of wiew As I told before I bought from him a helmet, thinking it was an AP. When it arrived it was horrible; very thin (too thin for trooping, but it could do the job for display) poor paint job, really bad stickers and I won't talk about the mic tips... Anyways I reworked it, and it went quite well : By the way the helmet pictured in the auction is mine; you can see the quality of the guy's craftsmanship... Really guys, stay away from this one. It requires too much work to look good, too thin for trooping, and obvious recast

This is not a FX. As there are no details on the ears, and with this shape on the eyes, I would say that could be a SDS battle spec (recast or not).

Agreed, stay away ! I bought a helmet from him some weeks ago, and it's a AP recast. Very thin and assembled with his feet. I never had problems before on eBay, but this one is disappointing...

It's not because you are new here, it's because you didn't search at all. If you didn't scult the original bucket yourself, it's all recast to me! And it's a fact that VT recasted the TE faceplate, he admitted it himself, but he did A LOT of work on it, and it looks really great. From left to right : TE - VT hero (old one) - VT stunt

It's a bit annoying to see a new thread about VT every two days. Yes, it's a TE recast with mods, yes it's a quality helmet with sharp details, yes it's a fraking good deal.

I'm pretty sure people here will say to avoid that. But it seems to be a pretty nice helmet with nice details for a good price, and as for me, I've heard good thing about MoT.
