  1. Terrell, I have e-mailed you at ataworks@yahoo.com titled "WANTED-Replacement Parts for TD armor". Looking forward to hear from you soon. -Trooper Peter
  2. LOL you can't get more accurate than that!
  3. Thanks for the heads up info on the release date and price of the "The Making of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back: The Definitive Story Behind the Film" book - hardcover edition. I'm pleased to see that the cover of this much awaited book : is consistent with the book cover format of J.W. Rinzler's earlier master piece as shown here :
  4. Congratulations to the new FISD Admin Team for 2010.
  5. Òrlendr, thanks for the tips and url link. I've got it done already.
  6. Its about time I retire the existing FISD forum monicker "The Sith OverLord" to the ID that I've been using in the MEPD forums (and in Facebook as well). As such please change my FISD forum ID to Trooper Peter Thanks!
  7. Thank you for the Birthday Greetings Manny. Much appreciated :)

  8. Now that's some improvement in your apperance when we last sway you TK-8290. Now that you've "cleaned up" your act you look pretty close to those HWT pictures that are shown at Screen Caps - post 'em if you got 'em, boys!. The relatively more weathered part on your front seems to give the impression that you were knocked down face down to the soil and got back up again after that. Having said that, it is much better we see you in your toned down weathered armor and sporting some action poses with your BFG or E-11.
  9. VacTrooper I salute your efforts in sculpting your own TK Helmet. Things seem to be in order except for the shape of your dome is bit too rounded per my observation.
  10. Looks like the actor in this Stormtrooper suit has got a much bigger waist the extras in the movie. Looks like its ripping apart!
  11. Congrats Joey and here's a toast to your 1000th over post here my friend!
  12. Hey Keith your armor looks fine. We'll be looking forward to have another look after you've toned down the "Dewback poodoo" and add some slight black wash to it. Remember the motto "Less is More" when it comes to weathering.
  13. Got a question which I hope that I can find the answers I seek. Were there any netting / mesh affixed behind the frowns of the Stormie / Sandie helmet props used in ANH? I've looked through the Internet but can't see much details behind the frown. I refer to the STUNT and HERO Helmets. If mesh had been used, were they affixed in a vertical or diagonal position? I've seen pictures posted by forum members where the position of the mesh are mainly in a diagonal position. Thanks in advance guys.
  14. Its the 501st Legion blue markings alright. Well we can say that this armor indicate the natural evolution from the Phase II Clonetrooper armor to the TK Armor of the Original Trilogy.
  15. Talking about The Force Unleashed Stormtrooper there is a thread posted over at the 501st HQ Forum with a screen cap of these TK-TC hybrid troopers : ---------
  16. Prayers to a steady and healthy recover for Melissa. Amen
  17. Thanks for your helpful feedbacks and inputs my fellow 501st TKs, much appreciated. This will give me a better idea on how to get down and get up again from the cineplex seats, which I'll put to good use for my fellow armored members and myself. Paul, I'll be taking a similar course of action like you. In lieu of unsnapping both thigh pieces, which is already rivetted to my abdomen armor, I'll just remove them before sitting down. This can be done as industrial velcro is used to hold together the back of each thigh armor piece.
  18. Just like to find out from my fellow 501st TKs whether there is any difficulties in sitting down in cineplex seats whilst wearing your full TK Armor? Can you do so with them on, or have to remove your lower abdomen piece? *Wonder how Harrison Ford does it in SW: ANH * Strangely this will be my first time watching a movie, specifically the upcoming The Clone Wars movie premiere wearing my TK cum TD armor. The same goes for some of my fellow 501st members who are TKs. In the past I've watched SW Episodes II and III dressed up in soft goods costumes (e.g. TR, and SL : Darth Sidious), but never in armor.
  19. I've seen earlier posts that say that some of us wouldn't want to troop wearing the MR Helmet. Is it because it is FRAGILE and couldn't withstand the rigors of trooping?
  20. Congratulations VaderDave SL-1576 :vader1: on being approved in the 501st Legion. BTW the pair of 3.5" Imperial Cogs patches, which you shipped to me on January 25, will help one of my potential member to become a 501st Legion member in as a TI in the near future.
  21. Salutations, Peter, TK 2870 (as well as TR/DZ/TS 2870) requesting 501st trooper Status. Here is my 501st profile picture : My unit : 501st Malaysia-Brunei Outpost
