  1. I've always though the the best looking and functional would be behind the vocoder black thing. Cutting through the vocoder - straight lines - would allow for a speaker placement, one like the one provided by the Rom/FX kit, as big as that one or a tad smaller. And place it in the vocoder hollow space. I wonder why no one seems to have tried it?
  2. You gots the bestest armor there is
  3. I had NEVER been saving pictures of "fan made" armor to my computer. Since TM 1mm came out, I have. Been collecting trooper armor for ten years. At 43, you judge what this means. Terrific, SD
  4. Best thing I've ever seen. Would buy one immediately, cash on the nail.
  5. Rolf, impressive collection there. Just like many before me have stated, I don't think there's better than a deac sterling. I have had a few, this is the only one I've left: I also have two hyperfirms and look to get more. Hyperfirms are the modern alternative to resin. Resin sucked. Would break if you looked at it. PVC or even metal could be an alternative, but I don't think there's serial producers of accurate metal ones. I have just seen one offs.
  6. John, I'd love to grab two of those from Steve. Will you kindly help put me in touch with him? Thanks, Fil
  7. This is superb. It's probably the best looking lid I have ever seen. I want one NOW. Excellent.
  8. Paul, your work is top notch.
  9. Screams ANH. Very very good.
  10. Looks great. Just "wide" as it has to be.
  11. It's the only blaster I'd accept in trade of my real sterling one. The sound and light board is pretty amazing. I wonder if I could stick one inside of my sterling. I guess so. I'll tell you again Pablo, fantastic work.
  12. Beautiful. I would just make the ankles look thinner and very tight. As thin as possible. I think it gives a whole lot more to the overall look of the armor in general.
  13. Huh Grant, only now I realize your question was more sophisticated... sorry mate, didn't mean to be simplistic. Now that you point that out, I have never seen those right side greeblies in screen captures. I think I always gave it for granted. I remember people mentioning that there was a resin cast of a screen used ROJ blaster that had those - and I have seen pics of that in the years - , so I always gave it for granted, but you make a good point.
  14. Grant, there are quite a few close up images taken by fans of screen used ROTJ blasters on flickr, for example. Those shots come from SW museum tours. Just launch a search with "stormtrooper blaster" and they'll come up. I will try and link some of them here later on. EDIT: couple links for you on the fly:
  15. Io ci sono. Salutoni, Fil
  16. Sorry I don't ablo Espanolb ut I would take the liberty to comment as well. I am about receiving a CE as well. I like yours and the mods you did to it. Contrary to common thinking, I like this helmet a lot.
