I couldn't resist... Here is the helmet with my AM armor (a work in progress)! Good times! Still got a long way to go...

It's a local expression. A West Coast thing... A girl is not a dude but can be referred to like, "Dude, that sucks you lost your job." "Thanks, dude!" "Dude...not cool." "Dude" in this case can be substituted with "Man" as well with all but the second example. That one might sound strange. Dude is a word that has more meaning by the way it is spoken. If somebody starts messing with your armor without asking you would say "Dude!" and they would immediately get that what they were doing wasn't cool. Your friend start flirting with a girl that's half his age (in front of her mother maybe) You could just say, "Dude..." with a disgusted tone and he instantly knows what a dirtbag he is. It is the Swiss Army Knife of words!

"You've just taken your first step into a larger world..." As for the MP3 issue, iTunes will convert tracks back into MP3 if you so desire. In your settings you can also tell it not to convert music into it's native M4A format if you don't want it to. I have yet to find a better music browser than iTunes.

I think TupperwareTK could answer this better, but I have seen very short and very tall Stormtroopers out there. This armor has a-lot of extra plastic so that you can trim it down to your size pretty easily! 5'8" to 6'2" shouldn't have to do much though...How tall are you?

Almost perfectly! Other than a slight difference in gloss(fixable with polish and elbow grease) it's a perfect match! This is gonna rock!!!

For all those who wanted to see pics of my armor...here you go! BTW, the helmet is a VT and did not come with the kit. This is TupperwareTK's AM "LITE" kit. I labeled what is in the box so you don't have to guess.

Thanks! I'm gonna go for a shiny ANH suit. I always liked the look of those troopers marching through the death star. I'm definately going to take my time and post many pics on a soon to be created build thread!

You're absolutely right, it's still FX. That's why I bought the "LITE" kit instead. I like my VT lid better! According to TupperwareTK, the new helmet is a ways off from complete but will be sweet! I may buy one.

It arrived! Now the fun starts. . .as does the countdown to WonderCon! Who wants to help? I have beer!

Arrgh! I don't want to go to work today! I just want to wait for my armor. That's a good excuse, right. Think my commander will buy it?

I just found out from UPS that my AM Armor arrives tomorrow!!! Once that gets here, the only thing left is my dive skin which is scheduled to arrive next monday. All parts and accessories under one roof...exciting! I may make it to WonderCon after all! I see an armor party in my future...who's down?

I got my boots! Fast Shipping! The sizing is pretty accurate as far as boots go too. I wear size 10 shoes, so I ordered size 10 boots hoping they'd fit, and they couldn't fit me any better! Great boots.

Anybody else out there stationed at/lives near Travis AFB? It's such a large base that there's got to be SOMEONE! I have seen a few Imperial Cog stickers on cars driving on base so maybe there are others stuck between two garrisons like me. It's a-lot easier to have armor parties when people are local, right? Carpooling to events maybe...who knows? Just wonderin'.

It's definitely official! I have paid for my AM armor. Will update as things happen!

Is it me, or are the calves a bit small/short. I don't know if it's just how you are wearing it in the shot or what. The boot to calf relationship looks a bit off to me. I only ask seeing as I'm about to order the same set of armor.

I'm gonna do it! TupperwareTK has an email in his inbox (literally) with my name on it! We'll see what it looks like with my VT lid. If it looks like crap I was thinking of buying his helmet kit too (when it's finished). I think he's including an FX type lid at the moment. Either way, I will keep you guys posted with a build thread!

I think the winner of the Armor Wars is TupperwareTK's AM armor! I was looking for a mix of accuracy, durability, price, and ease of construction, and his armor seems to fit. This will be my FIRST set ever! What say the the Forum? Discuss...
