  1. LOL! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  2. I agree very much in this mentality. There are lots of quirky details that sometimes are right and sometimes wrong depending on the version that is replicated. But in this case he is right, the tube stripes are very low compared to the real deal.
  3. Well, since it's christmas and all I feel like I should approve this. So congraulations! But I must say that I'm not fond of those budget hovi tops from trooperbay. The mesh is not dense enough, so I would recommend upgrading. And to future buyers, the extra $10 or whatever it is, is totally worth it.

  5. Thanks. http://www.whitearmor.net/eib/certificates/4737-eib.png
  6. I had intended to wait a bit until it was night so he'd wake up and find himself approved. Would have been a nice christmas present I'd think. But yes, of course he's approved.
  7. That would unfortunately be way too much administrative work for us to handle. We are not the TK police and we have to assume that when you plan on putting down your cash that you are an informed customer and have your the research. Obviously, is someone is scamming then we as staff can step in, but no on day-to-day sales. It's the same as in any other situation, if you aren't asking someone who knows, they will assume that you know what you want and need. We do sometimes try to work with sellers to give them tips on improving their product, but that is as much, or as little, my responsibility as it is yours as a customer.
  8. They hold your armour together.
  9. Approved. And please show us the holster mod once you're done with it.
  10. AM is the least accurate of our vetted sellers. It's the successor of FX. They recently stopped producing AM armour so that they are not sitting on lots of old armour once the new kit is ready for sale. What is it you're looking for?
  11. I should be clear on this though, you don't have to change them for approval, I could approve you now if you'd like to. But I think you would really benefit from the holster snap mod I described.
  12. No, I don't. And AM is not produced anymore while they are working on the new moulds for a more accurate product.
  13. No, FX is an old ABS helmet. Oversized and just terrible. Have a look around at starwarshelmets.com to learn more. http://www.starwarshelmets.com/fan-made-stormtrooper-armor-submenu.htm
  14. And I can see in a matter of 2 seconds that that is not what I would call a quality helmet. While more accurate than an FX, it has several flaws compared to how it should look, and those hovi tips are terrible. Plus, there are no one currently making "legit" fiberglass helmets so it's guaranteed a recast.
  15. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/ http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19329-where-what-and-whom-to-avoid-when-buying/ Start with those two links before going to ebay. It'll save you lots of questions, time, heartache and most of all, money.
  16. You could redo the holster poppers so that the female half is on the holster strap, and then use a pop rivet to hold the male half like it was a washer on the inside of the belt. It's a very good method for attaching the holster when using snaps/poppers. The TD screws are good as they are, leave them.
  17. i still need that action photo....
  18. http://www.whitearmor.net/eib/certificates/7645-eib.png I don't celebrate christmas, but thanks anyway.
  19. Sorry but that's still too obvious that you've just added some random paint into the decals. If you want to go this way, at least paint the whole lines.
  20. Yes, the bicep and forearms look way too large for your real arms. I'm skinny myself so I know quite a bit about the issue and had it myself in the beginning, but I was really happy with the results of slimming down the parts, making them my size instead of the default size. I think you would to, if you do it.
  21. I think that your arms are too big for your actual arms and should be slimmed down. But that's not a requirement (unless your count the basic approval requirement "fit to wearer") for centurion. I just think they are oversized and would look better if slimmer. 22. Give the painting a shot. The pandatrooper ATA#1 helmet build is really good for a first-timer. And if that still doesn't do it for you, let me know and I'll buy a set for you.
