Yeah i change mine every week or so just to make peoples lives interesting. Plus it kinda helps me stand out from all the people with TK's ^.^ Infact im going to change it right now if i can find a decent gif! So i was wondering what routes people have gone with their boots and how they've stood up to lots of trooping witht he vetran TK's.

Plus if it comes assembled that takes away half of the fun of bcoming a stormtrooper!

I Need my boots and to deal with the backplate and ill be good. Ill have to look over the standards again just to be sure.

This can be a problem even for people out of armor (as i found last sunday) as the voice sound FX can really distort someones speach. That and ive found it depends on where said persons mic is.

Im also a computer graphics student (it was my major untill i switched) so Im game to help anyone else with stuff it they need it. ^.^

Im using the male/male adapter and a y splitter to play my music and audio clips OUT of my aerators. I dont know of a way personally to make it pmay on the speakers on the inside, though there is a explanation of how to wire it from a comm/radio on the skullworx website.

Yeah I hope that it continues to work well. Im getting a Y splitter and a male to male audio chord so that i can hook up my Mp3 player through my bucket speakers. I figure that will give me ample entertainment until i get my boots.

I got my kit Yesterday and have it installed and working 100%, the fans arntt oo loud and the mic and speakers are loud as hell!

My sentiments exactly! i just hope mine goes well. So far communication with the vendor has been great, and everything has gone soomthly payment wise. I asked for a wiring digram in case had to fix anything and of course got the "full diagrams are not available." which makes sense as to prevent other people from reproducing their product. But hey it happens.

Lol mine are far from even, and thats what drives me nuts.

I may co the caulk route then, because i have all of my stuff on my helmet already and i dont feel like paying for new everything. The ear is nice and snug on one side but there is a 1/4 inch or so gap on the other. Ive also seen white marine bondo which i think may be painted locally, if anyone knows anything about this let me know.

So i finaly got my helmet together and was dissapointed to see that even after all of my effort i still had semi-large gaps in the front of one of my ears between the hemet and the earpiece. Has anyone figured out a good way to fill these gaps? Im cinsidering bondo but dont know how shiny ill be able to get it or if it will even come close to matching the color of my helmet. Please help an ocd trooper!
