Thanks for the compliments and critiques, all.
Butt plate sits funny due to a combo of genetics and a life of athletics giving me a prominent rump. Attempts to move the belt down in the past have been more problematic than helpful. Also, I believe it is supposed to sit a bit above the cut line, no?
I was wearing my under armor suit that day with an extended neckseal drape to cover the logo. It seems that might be what you are seeing. I can redo those if the DO wishes.
And the shins do open to the inside. I can take some pics in a bit for clarification as well.

Welcome! Looking forward to seeing you at events around the Bay Area. Enjoy!

I just came across this thread. Outstanding work! I'm dying to move in to a place with a work bench space.

Wow, very impressive!

Welcome MIchael! Start here and then study the build threads. It's a great ride so enjoy!

I use high density foam and cut it with a bread knife. Apply with hot glue. Cheap and easily replaceable. Just want to make sure the green isn't visible. I've been looking for a white alternative but haven't found one yet.
-
All the best to you!

I have two of them and they are solid quality. They don't have the power up/down effects as those are done with LED strips. Those are great for show but not if you plan on hitting things with them as individual lights can go out.
They have a new option for a power jack so you don't have to take the batteries out. Furthermore you can leave it plugged in and use it for a light.
That said, I don't know the details but the local lightsaber training group doesn't recommend them.

Woo, happy day and thank you! I'll add taming those corners to my pre-Centurion application to-do list.
I contacted Lewis for the best paints for the Hyperfirm and will adjust the scope as well.

Looks very nice! Congrats.

From the pics it looks like the white tabs cut off of the ends of your shoulder strips? Availability ebbs and flows with makers' schedules and material in stock. Best of luck on obtaining replacements and stay the course. Patience is your ally.

Thank you all for the kind words. Standing by with my tools and a camera in case of any needed tweaks.

Very nice and all the best!

GML approves, huzzah! Starting the EIB app...
-
Heya. Looking really good! You might want to consider lengthening your shoulder attachments so the chest piece can come down a bit as well. Mine was in the same position as yours and it frequently caught on the top of the ab piece.
-
Photos were taken yesterday and linked below. Sent off to my GML for basic approval and updating from my FX.
Of course I've already noticed a few items that I want to address. Particularly the thighs. I'm afraid I trimmed them too much at the top and will need to shim them so they can be pulled up more. But I have hope for a couple mods I can do first that will help out.

Your build is looking great so far! I trimmed my thighs a bit too much as well. They still fit but I plan on going back to add a bit of spacing. I'll keep an eye out to see how you go about it. Carry on!
