  1. It's being released! They're having the premiere DVD-release in Australia, with 2 pre-screenings in a movie theater! Read more here: http://www.501stforums.com/forum/viewtopic...&highlight=
  2. They've discussed this on the official 501st forums as well. it seems that the makers are looking for a distributor at the moment. That's all anyone knows.
  3. This is the stuff I bought from Trik: ----- As you can see, the amp wasn't boxed, so there was'nt anything for me to rip out...
  4. The Triktoys amp wasn't encased at all, just a tiny circuit board a litlle bigger than the FX-board. I managed to get it all nicely into my ANH style helmet. The best place IMO, would be to place it in the "snout" area. But I don't know how much room the MR CE helmet has there... I read on another forum, someone bought an wireless transmitter for their helmet-mounted mic, which had a receiver connected to the amp. The amp itself had a bigger speaker mounted behind the chestplate, which in turn produces better/higher sound.
  5. I have both the FX card and the AMP from Trik, and they both worked fine. I even had then both installed in my helmet, together with Triks aerator speakers. It worked, but the sound was not good enough for me. So now I'm modifying it to have the speaker mounted on the chestplate, and hte amp and FX rig gets tucked away in an amoo pouch (I'm going dirty, after all. Why not use the damned pouches?)
  6. Did boot camp in 1995, Royal Norwegian Air Force NCO course, with MP focus in 1995 Served as MP squad leader '95 -'96 Drill sergeant at Air Force boot camp '97 MP-leader (Sgt, 2nd Lt.) in '99 Norwegian Home Guard, 2nd Lt. Military Police since 2001
  7. Ah, seems to be the same mesh size as I already have...
  8. I might be interested in buying some. Do you have any good pictures of how it turned out, from the front?
  9. 32 this October. Feel like 16.
  10. Always tell them that you do it for kids, as well as charity. That usually takes the sting out of them.
  11. A quick question for ANH requirements: Isn't the holster optional? Think I remember that not all TK's in ANH wear a holster....
  12. I'm really starting to look forward to when I move to Singapore! Looks like you guys have a great time!
  13. Oh crap... forgot that one of the requirements was no visible rivets on shoulder straps.... Anyone have a spare set?
  14. I'm planning on going ANH Elite... Need to paint my frown in a better color, cover the gap on the torso, get a left sided holster and split the back torso. I THINK that should cover it....
  15. That was my thought too, and I hav that part. But if I sell it, I'll end up with no belt, and as I understood it, Orrin had a one-piece belt available?
  16. I have the FX kit, and my ABS belt consists of the front and seperate pieces to go around. Get me a pic of your belt, and I'll see if I might trade with you.
  17. Where did you get that "Action Packer"? Is it readily available for international customers as well?
  18. I went and bought the gloves mentioned in the first post, and they totally work! They are tight and thin, no way they're going to become hot.
  19. I used to be very active in the airsoft enviroment, here in Norway. And we ALWAYS kept our weapons out of sight, until we started gaming. It's easy, just use common sense when going to trooping events... Since the real blasters were customized real life weapons, the props we use will naturally look somewhat real as well. And a traffic cop pulling over a car with (in worst case) maybe 3-4 Sterling look-alikes in the backseat...? I know I'd be very nervous if I was that cop!
  20. I have RC on pc, but for some reason it won't start once it's installed... Works perfectly until the mission starts loading, then pops out to windows without any error code/window...
