Had some nice weather today (usually my city is really windy and therefore dusty) so I took the opportunity to spray some more pieces. I did some belt and ab boxes, the TD plate, the portion of the butt plate that I wiped with IPA, a part of the TD which I had to sand down to fix a seam, one shoulder bell (not pictured) and the forearms. I got some pretty bad runs on the forearms which I'll need to sand out (was trying to spray closer to avoid orange peel and probably got too close) but I'm really happy with how seamless they look. Doing the second pass with milliput/filler primer really paid off. If you're curious what kind of stand the forearms are on, someone on my local buy nothing group was giving away a double guitar stand which I realized I could use for painting. :) No photos, but I also sprayed the calves and one of the thighs with filler primer to prep them for paint. It's slow going and I'm honestly dreading painting the helmet and also spraying the 2k, but I am inching towards the finish line. It is also good to know that even with paint, almost no problem is un-fixable.2 points

Hello to everyone! I've been a member of the UK Garrison for 1.5 years now, and have a number of costumes cleared. Now for a new challenge - the ANH Stunt TK. I need to sit down and watch the informational videos, read the available help pages, and then create a list of things I need. Looking forward to beginning this build in the Autumn of 2026.1 point

Hey guys, I'm planning on joining my local garrison as the current GML is a buddy of mine and convinced me to apply so I thought I'd go for the Imperial Armored Commando. I'm a member of the Galactic Armory patreon and decided to go with their files, but as I was currently post-processing the helmet I decided to buy Big Fred's STL files and continue from there since I'm planning on illuminating my armour with LEDs and Big Fred's files are way easier to do so with. As I was checking the CRLs I noticed that the nose part of Galactic Armory's helmet doesn't have the stripe things so I decided to model my own but I don't know I might reprint the helmet using Fred's files? But I spoke with my GML buddy and he says GA's helmet does follow the CRLs. https://imgur.com/a/zM5bh9Z I'd love to hear some feedback from you guys, thank you so much in advance!1 point

Very nice, thanks for the tip there. My wife's kit laid out. This is a more scaled down kit overall. This trimmer was great for those first cuts, nicer than the dremmel for straight cuts. We got her into a test fit pretty early, but progress has stalled here. This allowed my kit to catch up. Always nice to see the helmet come together. Hate working on the ears. Dave's Left and 850 right Dave's Left and 850 right Dave's Left and 850 right Dave's Left and 850 right, I like the trimmer fit for myself but I think 850's could benefit from a bit of additional width Dave's Left and 850 right Here's the anomaly where the 850 shins are way bigger than Dave's 850 bicep probably could have used more shaping on my part. Helmet details coming in, very out of practice on my hand painting.1 point
