poisonfox Posted February 3, 2010 Report Share Posted February 3, 2010 They are called boot savers. TIs (boot Camp instructors) wear them so they won't have to get new boots all the time. Those guys are always marching! They make hard black plastic ones as well as metal ones. The plastic boot savers aren't as obnoxiously loud as metal but I think they're safer traction-wise.
