Got the arms done, almost done with the legs. Once I got them glued I taped them up to hold it in place. I was just messing around with some different blue paints on a ear I messed up on. Quote

Darth_Finger Posted September 9, 2009 Author Report Posted September 9, 2009 I think the top one was Testors Ford GM light blue, to the left is Testors Ford GM blue, then Testors reg blue and Testors dark blue. I went with the Ford GM light blue. I will get some more pics of that later on. Quote

One of the snap plates I glued to the chest area burned a hole in the armor Used to much glue and touched the metal snap. I have a few ideas on how to fix it. The rest of the snaps I am just going to glue the corners. Quote

I am going to try and work on it a bit more tomorrow. Finding time is the worst part of these build. If I had it my way I would be spending a lot more time on it. I will get some pics for ya tomorrow on the bicep piece. Quote

Umm, not really, but it's on the part of my arm that will usually be tucked against my body-- thank goodness. It might just be that particular piece, in this one particular pull, but my inner left bicep had absolutely no edge on the top. The junk excess plastic ran right up to where the inside of the return edge should be. I think I'll be able to heat it up and make a lip on my own, though. My bicep will just have 1/4" or so less on top. No biggie... I hope. Quote

A few of the snap plates are squares that I glued on a week ago. Didnt really like how they turned out. I made the rest oblong. That way I use less glue. I still need to fix this, which happend to both sides. Quote
