Having removed the neck and brow trim before painting, I am left with lots of glue residue and small bits of rubber stuck on, i could sand all this off but it seems a bit drastic and i can be a little heavy handed at the best of times. Just wondered what people used to remove this?

thanks

There is a great stuff called Oops, but it's getting harder to find since most stores are only carrying goo-gone and goo-off. What makes Oops different is it's naptha based instead of acetone based. It's also great for getting scuffs out of ABS.

I used goo gone and white putty knives. Went through two of the putty knives and most of a small container of goo gone.
