jsilvius[Staff] Posted June 25 Author Report Posted June 25 IIRC the 850 kit tends to have pretty distinct trim lines. Most of what I see, I agree with this. That leads me to believe this is a bad pull.Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk Quote
jsilvius[Staff] Posted June 25 Author Report Posted June 25 And now I'm even more confused because I went through the box and found a 3rd set of thigh front and backs.Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk Quote
jsilvius[Staff] Posted June 26 Author Report Posted June 26 Shins are done, I'll setup the closures after they are painted. Shoulder bells are done, I'll setup the strapping after they are painted. I have three thighs, so I have to figure that out. I think two look like they match, and as I have short upper legs, that might work out. Biceps are taped together for now, I've got to trim some extra plastic and glue them together. I followed the photos from [mention=35748]Zerop1ng[/mention] and [mention=35809]Swiftcloud[/mention] as they seem to have the same version of the 850 Armor Works kit I have. And I put the back and Yoke together. I think it looks good, but the space for the neck is way to small, so I'll have to do some trimming there. And I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to add some shims to get the front and back to close, as I have to do that for my abs and kidney for my OTTK, so no surprise there. I'm going to mix up some ABS slurry tomorrow and see about filling the gaps and smoothing that transition out. I need to check the CRL, as I'm not sure if the biceps have to be seamless or not. I don't think the shins or thighs needed to, so I'm not sure. Quote
jsilvius[Staff] Posted Thursday at 10:02 PM Author Report Posted Thursday at 10:02 PM Received the correct helmet from a great trooper across the pond. So now I have the TFA helmet to go with the TLJ/TRoS one. I've already started to break it down so I can get is painted Cardinal Red.Just trying to be very careful not to break any of the connection points.Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk 1 Quote

gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted 18 hours ago Report Posted 18 hours ago Looking good, just a tip, I use some wire and gaffa tape inside so I can hang pieces so everything gets a full coat, also handy for drying. 1 Quote
