Hello from San Diego, Current 501st member here....

I am part of ISG in SoCal starting my journey into full armor costumes.

I currently have only done partial armor up to now with my V5 Gunner. But I love building/crafting costumes (I already have 4 approved) and naturally a stormtrooper has always been a goal of mine from the very beginning when I first wanted to join the legion more than 2 years ago. And now I have joined and also have decent experience with what it takes to actually troop with limited visibility. I think I'm finally ready to take the plunge!

Especially as a bunch of people in my garrison are going to be doing a group buy from imperial surplus that is probably gonna happen next month.

(so FISD is going to be getting a bunch of new recruits soon).

I'm currently looking at going with an ESB trooper for mine. A bit nervous about the process/price but also very excited at the same time since my garrison already has a bunch of TK's and I know I'm going to need all of their help to get mine up to spec so I can join the stormtrooper ranks.

It's going to be a very interesting journey for sure.

Hello James and welcome to the FISD Forum! Glad to have you!

To get you started, here is a very good thread with a lot of info!

Remember, measure twice cut once, and start a build thread on the forum if you want help from us along the way! Don't stress, is probably the best tip I can give you! :salute:
