gmrhodes13[Staff]
Nice work, just a couple of things that stand out, it's up to your GML (garrison membership liaison) if they will approve these or not. Your large ab plate has been trimmed too much, should have a base around it. Thighs could come up a touch, you have a big gap there and your left thigh is overlapping your sniper plate. Adding some foam behind the sniper plate can help push it outwards and away from the thigh. Kidney sides are being pushed out the sides, adding some tabs behind so they fit behind the ab can help them from coming outwards. You could also drop your forearms a little to give you more gap at the elbows and less gap between them and the gloves. Ab button paint is a touch large. Belt should sit just under the bottom ab button The top of the ABS belt shall sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical ab button panels. A slight overlap is suggested, but not required. Fall of the tube stripes should be from top to bottom Kidney should match the abdomen on the sides. Should also have rivets on the sides, 3 on abdomen and 3 on kidney Although not needed for basic approval For Level 3, three domed head bifurcated (split) rivets approximately 5/16" (8mm) in diameter are present on the left side of the abdomen and kidney and are equally spaced along the depth of the armor and are painted white. Note that the measurements are from the center of the rivet. Rivets on both kidney and ab should line up horizontally. Belt corners are too large, should meet the ends of the fabric belt Again only for higher levels but your GML may or may not approve For Level 3, the corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt. Detonator sitting too high and should have black screws. Belt could be trimmed so it ends just at the end of the detonator You could also trim the large tabs off your shoulder straps on the rear but again this is for higher levels NOTE: As seen in the photos below, there are no large tabs on the rear of the shoulder bridges. This is not specifically mentioned in the CRL, but removing them is highly recommended if possible. Your helmet is sitting quite high on the back, you may be able to reduce the padding. Right corner of backplate overlapping the kidney, the left is inside the kidney. Also check your gaps between the control panel and end caps on your detonator as they look quite small Not sure if that's a slot or a marker mark behind the lower ear screw, may need to clean this up (or add abs paste if it's a slot/hole) So mostly a few adjustments needed for basic and a few additions for higher levels. Also in regards to taking your photos you should try to use a contrasting background, makes your GML/GWL life a little easier for editing (and also for EIB if you are applying for that) Good luck and hope to see you approved very soon
justjoseph63[Staff]
Aside from what Glen has gone over, an issue that may cause a issue is the position of the TD plate. As per the CRL for Basic approval: "The white control panel raised ribbed section faces the rear.." If your GML does ask you to move it, you may want to consider evening out the clip ends.
