Of course, I discovered this after I printed out the insert bases. Hello. I am sorry they changed the design and you printed the wrong bases. I was not aware of the change until now. I can take a look at modifying the bases for 5 spokes. However, I don't have access to a new style bin to get the measurements of the wheels. Wheel diameter (without the "tire"), distance between spokes, and the spoke width, etc. It also looks like there's more of a lip on the tire portion and it extends out past the wheel, where the old style was more flush. Would you or anyone that has one of these new style bins be able to take some close up photos of the wheel and provide some measurements? Ex. Green = 7.23 in diameter rubber wheels (from the item description) Red = Yellow = Blue = Orange = Also, the total tire thickness and the depth of the lip between the tire and the wheel. Thank you! 2 Quote

The wheels and latch mechanisms appear to be more cheaply constructed with the new iteration. They’re also uglier, therefore warranting these covers even more. I have the old large bin and do still need a set of these covers myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Since Dan has a couple bases he can't use now perhaps you guys can work something out! Alternatively, I just got a new Bambu P1S and I am considering making a single piece multi-material wheel cover that works with Bambu's AMS to make the wheel cover in 1 solid single piece. I could try and do this for both the old 6 spoke version and new 5 spoke version for folks that have AMS systems or other multi material printing capabilities. Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted December 24, 2023 Report Posted December 24, 2023 I have the first version (LOVE em'), but I'm waiting on Eric to make the "spinner" version so I can have them chromed and be the coolest TK on the block. 2 Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted December 24, 2023 Report Posted December 24, 2023 I've not printed them myself as yet, Qantas were a little heavy handed, after a trip to the other side of Australia for a rare LFL event a few years ago, going was fine but after the return I saw two baggage handlers carrying my crate to me and baggage claim, they managed to destroy a wheel in transit. Luckily I found replacement wheels and managed to fix the crate, these being 5 segments. I don't use the crate often, I like using a suit case for ease of packing and local travel but the crate is great for air transportation, well normally 1 Quote

GoofTrooper[TK] Posted June 14, 2024 Author Report Posted June 14, 2024 (edited) @dcx13 I finally got dimensions for the Husky 5 spoke wheel from a friend and I drew up a new version of the wheel cover. He did a test print and confirmed the wheel cover fits Husky's new 5 spoke wheels. This was designed to work with the Imperial Cog from the original 6 spoke version. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6661283 Edited June 14, 2024 by GoofTrooper Added additional info 3 Quote
