Hey again guys,

I’m putting the cart before the horse while my blaster is printing (off site) and I wait for armor to arrive I want to build the holster from scratch.

I just haven’t been able to get an accurate size.

I think it’s 200mm (about 8 inches from what I’ve compared from pictures.

Please could someone provide an accurate length?

Mine is 210mm long (and about 20-35mm wide depending on area):

(This is R2Dan's metal holster from one of the runs he did a while back, I think he still sells them if you are looking for one.)

Beautiful. Thanks heaps. I’m having mine laser cut from acrylic tomorrow. May or may not be strong enough. But trying to make as much as possible myself.

Right, I assumed this was for original trilogy. :/

Sorry about the confusion.

So I had it laser cut but I didn’t think enough about how thick it should be. I guess only the middle part matters as that’s the thickness of the pan head torx. Can I ask you to measure it too please. 953aa3000b2f77de58f871d8337df192.jpg2fb82d4618ef8d4a906f625e0ab9bf1d.jpg

Each layer is ~ 3mm / 1/8” thick.

I had a feeling after I had arranged for laser cutting that it was

Looks good so far! It is even better to make it yourself. When each layer is approximate 3 mm you should be close enough to the required diameter of the screws of the pan head. Acrylic may be a little brittle, however, in the case of a holster mount it could work perfectly well as long as it is not subjected to excessive stress. Surely write back when you have fitted it in the blaster.
