Erice3339[TK]
Hello,

While I realize, to my knowledge, the microphone is not required at the lower levels, I would like to acquire one. I am starting my first ANOVOS, TK kit and am gathering the materials before my costume even arrives in the Fall. It seems like a process that deems these preemptive necessary. Anyways, I found this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01D4OWKNI/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1492380409&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=akers+voice+amplifier&dpPl=1&dpID=41mTc-G3cCL&ref=plSrch

Is this any good, or am I completely on the wrong track? I also heard of apps for iOS that have a Star Wars voice modifier provided I have a splitter. Any suggestions? Thanks!

~Eric
gmrhodes13[Staff]
Most use the Aker 1506 10watt, comes with microphone and charger, can be acquired from eBay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10W-AKER-MR1506-Portable-Microphone-Waistband-Voice-Booster-Amplifier-Speaker-/302053377174?hash=item4653c8c496:g:b18AAOSwSlBYx6DQ. This amp works well with the Icomm static burst unit http://store.voicebooster.com/icomm-imperial-communication-system/

Parquette[TK]
Wasn't the icomm system the one that can be installed in the helmet, and it came with hovi mics so that it's more authentic? Where's the link to that? And does it have the "ksssh" sound effect?

It has all the sound effects and voice modifications needed which are then projected through the Akers mic and speaker. I am not familiar with icomm or hovi, but this method seems rather inexpensive relative to other electronics I purchase.
Erice3339[TK]
The app mentioned is $14.99 and be found easily on the app store. Edited April 17, 2017 by Erice3339
