shawnmh[TK]
Anyone have any good ideas to prevent the sniper plate from catching under the thigh armor ? I've trimmed the calf pieces to lower the sniper plate and I'm still having trouble walking because the sniper plate catches under the thigh armor when I bend my knee causing my leg to lock up. don't want to trim away any more of the calf armor due to the gap behind the knees and my thigh pieces are as high as I can get them. Any Ideas ? Thanks...
trooper96[501st]
If you have room inside your thigh armor, you might try putting a little foam behind the knee area to keep the front from gapping open and allowing subduction of the sniper plate. Bone[TK]
Try to make your calf armor really tight around your knee. That's the only thing to prevent it ... It wonder hinder your movement any more than a calf with lots of space.
Coastertk[TK]
You say you can't raise your thighs any further? Too tight? Or are they too high into the hip? A photo would go a long way to diagnosing your situation.

Templar726[TK]
I had the same problem. I removed it, used a warm water bath to make the plate soft then pinched in the sides and let it cool. When I reglued it the edges were closer to the front allowing the sniper knee to protrud forward more and it stopped snagging. It still looks good and you would never know it was pinched inward. shawnmh[TK]
Might have to give that a try. I'll look at it when I get home from work. I'm just trying to work out a few bugs that's been bothering me with my armor, plus I get to be on stage with Weird Al at his concert in a few months so Im trying to get more mobility since we have to do a little dance.
