DarSec[TK] Posted September 20, 2014 Report Posted September 20, 2014 Does anyone know exactly what the brow trim and the authentic "S" trim is used for in real life, or was this created just for TK helmets? I know this may be a silly question for veteran armor builders, but I am tweeking an old Don Post mask from the 70's/80's and I want to look around at finding some. I may have to order it from Trooperbay, but I would love to say I found some just lying around, and I am cheap. Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 The "S" trim is actually window seal. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 during the production of the film AA used trim on the helmets to make them stronger at the edge. the boat/ fountain, and car maker that he was, he just simply used rubber trim from industrial sources. http://www.sealsdirect.co.uk/shopping.asp?intDepartmentId=4 Quote
