Hello.

I joined the site earlier this month after almost purchasing ebay stormtrooper armor.

Luckily I found this site and found out that it was garbage before I purchased it.

After doing a lot of research here I purchased an ATA helmet and put myself on the waiting list for the rest of the armor.

Sat morning a brown box arrived, and I proceeded to rip it apart and start right in on building it.

Last night I finished the build.

(Still have to add the S-Gasket to the bottom)

Well, the outside anyway, now I need to pad the inside.

Everything was hand painted (didn't want to wait for decals)

I could not find anything on line thickness/brush width, line count, etc on the 501st site..

It appears my black might be a bit thick, but it does look good in person, and I do have 11 blue lines per side.

Is there anything I need to address so far with this helmet?

(looking for 501 acceptance when I get and finish the armor)

Anyway, here are a few photos

(can't see, but I do have one rank stripe per side on the ears)

Very well done!

Yes, your black lines look a bit thick, but nothing to worry about too much.

Good luck on the rest of your build!

Looking pretty good, as mentioned your black lines look a little large but I am more concerned about your tube stripes, did you use a stencil?, they look quite large and too few stripes. You did a nice job on those ears, well done.

Hummm..

I used the templates from Pandabear, and made them 13/16" tall like instructed here

but the spacing does look a little off compared to that photo
