Helmet size

I just got my FX helmet together and as many of you know i feel like a bobble head. I eventually want to move to a more screen acurate helmet but have one concern. I can hardly fit my head from front to back into the FX lid! To go in wihtout scraping my skin i have to turn it sideways. So here is the question. How much smaller are the other helmets as compared to the fx?

All helmets so far as I know are sideways entry. Took me a while to get it down armored up...

I agree, all the helmets have to be twisted on sideways.

I have a big head and had to trim a bit round the bottom edge, but its fine.

Yep - I have to put mine on sideways - FX is about 15% larger than most ANH helmets:

You can always cut more out the bottom to make a larger entry. I've seen people 6' with glasses be able to put an ANH on. It can always vary per pull - I've had an easier time getting some of my TE2's on than an RT, and others the AP is easier, yada yada yada. I also have to squeeze the sides a wee bit to get one of the buckets on, but not the others. Go figure.

Thanks for the help guys. I just didnt want to get a helmet that im not going to be able to troop in.
