zaptrooper
Wondering if anyone has run into any issues with their armor fitting due to being really muscular? My brothers tease me all the time about my Popeye calves :-) Im pretty stocky @ 5'8" and 190 lbs but my thankfully everything else is to proportion so Im not expectin any issues anywhere else. Anyone have a set of ATA armor calves they could measure or can anyone provide any tips or tricks for fixing this? Thanks....zaptrooper aka Rob
bjsavage7[TK]
I've seen some big fellow fit into ATA with a bit of shimming ingenuity. Basically, if you cut your cover strips a bit wider, you should be fine.
kaa1304[TK]
I had to do my thighs and calves because of this. Just make the shims bigger, fill and sand any gaps and it'll be fine. It's a good feeling that first time you put them on and they a) close and don't leave blood!

theisaac
Exactly what they said. I had to do the same with my kit. I just used wider shims in the back of my calves and they close just fine. We can help you get setup with nearly any set of armor you decide on bro. Good luck. zaptrooper
Thanks for the replies and also the support Looks like Im going with an ATA kit and will be doing an Incinerator build, partly because my garrison doesnt have one and I think they look cool. How many guys get to walk around with a flamethrower for fun?
