Kaden Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 First two photos are from my phone (facepiece trimmed and in gray primer). 3rd is the "snot" green. Last is chipped with tips and vocoder painted. Quote

Kaden Posted January 5, 2013 Author Report Posted January 5, 2013 I might get rid of the chip just above the frown.... the more I look at it, the more it looks like a zit. Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 LOL Well the chips where random so what looks like a pimple to you looks just like a chip to me Quote
Foggedlenses Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 So since I am waiting on my armor I am always looking and taking notes. What is the objective here? Is there a certain look? Im just curious and would like to know . Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 (edited) The objective i believe was for a more screen accurate look, the helmets used in ANH were painted and some can be seen with chips. A few have come up at auction over the years and you can see the chips and wear. Some good pics here http://www.starwarshelmets.com/original-stormtrooper-comparisons.htm Edited January 28, 2013 by gmrhodes13 Quote

Kessel Run[TK] Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 (edited) DUH! I guess i should read the whole title of the thread..... Edited January 28, 2013 by spector254 Quote
Kaden Posted February 3, 2013 Author Report Posted February 3, 2013 Yes. The objective was to create a more screen accurate or "used" appearance. However, I was informed by my GML that this was not acceptable for a TK. I have had to repaint. The only other option I was given was to go TD. Looks cool but won't pass muster. Quote
