Jreeveo
In the middle of my 1st helmet build (I cheated last time and got someone else to do it) and was wondering, do any of you have any good techniques for cutting the ears to shape? Tray[TK]
table sander is perfect because it has the perfect curve to shape the ears.
Jreeveo
that would be a very useful piece of info if I had one
Kaden
Just did mine last night. I used a Dremel with the sanding disc. Mark with a pencil where you want to remove and nibble away slowly. Check for fit. Takes a while , but gets the job done.

gmrhodes13[Staff]
I used a Dremel to start then sandpaper wrapped around some wood for the finer adjustments, I just take a little off at a time, I mark with a pencil where I think it needs trimming, it is time consuming but worth it in the end
svache[TK]
need a new left ear over did it lol Depending on how much you overdid it, you might be able to still fix it by pushing it into place and make it fitting while placing the screws. Remember, the ones in the movies were not perfect either
