Daetrin[Admin] Posted December 28, 2007 Report Share Posted December 28, 2007 Thanks Doug I just checked mine against those numbers but didn't bother with the crest measurements as I would be guessing where to start measuring TM: Base: 29.5" (measured just above brow trim) Ear to ear: 14 1/4" TE2: base 30" (measured just above brown trim) You guys got of pix of where exactly you are taking these other measurements? The measurements I was given of the TE without the brow trim on and measured at the lowest point of the dome was 29". How come the TE2 is bigger? troopermaster Posted December 29, 2007 Report Share Posted December 29, 2007 (edited) The sharpness/softness wouldn't make any difference to the overall size of the dome. Here is the pic I was sent a while back showing where the 29" measurement was taken from. As you can see, it is at the very lowest point of the dome without going onto the back plate or over the brow trim. I am not sure what you meant by that comment Soprry mate didnt mean to be bvague. I meant that I thought that AP helmets (and armour) were shipped from the same phyical address as GF used to use (in Canada).
