ATA thighs

Recommended Posts

I'm working on the thighs for my ATA kit. When assembling it I have had to go with a 30mm strip for the front, and on the back, which is pictured here, I am looking at having to do a 40mm strip. My question is will this be ok and does it look ok?

It is a bit big, but as I have seen said several times if it's required due to the size of your legs, it is acceptable. The biggest thing is the proportions. You have done the ridges well so the coverstrip is right on the edge and as long as both sides mimic that, you should have no problem.

This is how TM does larger thighs, scroll down and take a look. The front looks 25-30mm and the back is a wedge shape to your size. If TM did it this way you cant go wrong. :)
