rotj e-11 pipe build question

Morning,

 

So I'm taking the plunge to try my hand at a ROTJ E11 pipe build, using the template designs commonly found however, what i can't find is a measurement for how long the pipe itself should be - the two templates (barrel fore and aft) feel a little long to me but it could just be perception. Tried searching the forum but either I'm using the wrong words or am just being early morning dumb

 

Anyone know the length?

Hehe yeah. I have spent so much time this week bending bits of wire from garden centres, diy shops and the like... nothing quite works.
