TK5492[TK] Posted June 25, 2012 Report Posted June 25, 2012 I am not sure if this is the proper place for this question. It seemed the most appropriate. Admin- please move this if I am wrong. I am seeking clarification about applying for Centurion. The armor that I plan on applying with is an entirely different kit than the one I was approved for EIB with. It is still ANH Stunt. So, do I need to resubmit the new armor to be approved for EIB first, even though I am already EIB approved with my old kit? OR- can I just go ahead and submit for Centurion since I am already EIB approved? Centurion is stricter, therefore, it incoporates the requirements layed out in EIB anyway. The guidelines only say that a TK need be EIB approved before applying. Hope I didn't make this sound too complicated. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted June 25, 2012 Report Posted June 25, 2012 If you build it for centurion requirements, getting it approved for EIB should be a walk in the park, so I don't see that as an issue. Quote
TK5492[TK] Posted June 25, 2012 Author Report Posted June 25, 2012 Right. That I understand. The question I am posing is if I need to resubmit a new application for EIB with the new kit before submitting for Centurion? Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted June 25, 2012 Report Posted June 25, 2012 I would say yes to that. Although it should be pretty much cut & paste at that point. Quote
vecspeed12 Posted June 25, 2012 Report Posted June 25, 2012 I did that. I just completely started over and submitted my new armor again for EIB then for centurion. Quote
Daetrin[Admin] Posted June 25, 2012 Report Posted June 25, 2012 Technically, yes you should. Once you start a new set of armor, it's like starting over again. As noted, if you're doing centurion it's just a copy/paste to get EI first. Quote
RogueTrooper[TK] Posted June 25, 2012 Report Posted June 25, 2012 Hi Tyler, I see that you have ANH stunt with the EIB. With this different suit/kit, are you doing a different style of TK (ANH Hero, ESB, ROTJ or one of the EU TKs) How we have it set up, it is like the TK is going through grade levels. you have to pass the first grade level to go on to the next. If you are doing a different style of TK, you will need to go through the EI level then you can apply for Centurion. And if you are changing out your old ANH Stunt (that has the EIB) with a new ANH Stunt, then the same thing would apply. You would need to reply. This help members to see your progression with your new TK. Can wait to see your pix of your TK man!!! Quote
TK5492[TK] Posted June 26, 2012 Author Report Posted June 26, 2012 Thanks eveyone for your quick and clear responses. I am nearly done with my build and should have my application done within the week. Thank you all for your support. Quote
